* If no transition (Z) is in symbol13, we recommend these corre-sponding selections for primarywire insulation in symbol 10.

Note: Wound or film resistorsmay be used.

* For compliant results, use 4 wire RTD for highaccuracy (types P & S).

#13 TYPE OF TRANSITION [14]

Note: For high humidity / moisture environments, < 500˚Fput a “2” after your selection.

Note: For high temperature at the transition area (> 500°F)please use an X stating type of transition and maximumtemperature.

Note: Use a double symbol (Ex. TT) for 2 separate lead wires if dual elements.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONSThis thermometer is a non-contact infrared ther-mometer. Simply aim the thermometer at thetarget with the probe and press the measuringbutton to display the surface temperature. Thedistance to target diameter ratio (Distance:Spot)is 1:1 therefore the device should be positionedas close to the target as possible.

°C / °F:The units of temperature indicated on the probecan be changed from °C to °F and back bypressing the pick hole under the back cover witha pointed object. The pick hole can be clearlyidentified as the hole on the opposite side of theprobe from the indicator directly underneath themarking: °C / °F

BATTERY REPLACEMENT:When an empty battery icon flashes in the LCDthat indicates that the battery is low and shouldbe replaced. Confirm that the power is OFF,loosen the cover at the top of the sensor in acounter-clockwise direction and replace the twoLR44 1.5V cell batteries. Please remember todispose of the batteries properly and to keepaway from children.

To order, use JMS part number IR200
