RECOMMENDATION I recommend approval of Resolution No 2018-05-CRA repealing Resolution No 2017-06-CRA to amend the CRA Application Review and Processing Fee Schedule

BACKGROUND Pursuant to the Citys annual review of user fees the CRA application and processing fees are hereby updated increasing the advertising deposit accordingly Only the required advertising deposits are increasing No other fees are adjusted

REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY AMENDING THE CRA APPLICATION

REVIEW AND PROCESSING FEE SCHEDULE BY UPDATING

CERTAIN FEES REPEALING RESOLUTION NO 2017-06-CRA

REGARDING APPLICATION AND PROCESSING FEES PROVIDING

FOR SEVERABILITY PROVIDING FOR REPEALER PROVIDING AN

EFFECTIVE DATE

WHEREAS the Rules of the Boca Raton Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) provide

for application review fees to be set by a resolution of the Board and

WHEREAS the Board desires to amend the CRA application process fee schedule by

updating the additional fees section to be consistent with City fees and

WHEREAS it is necessary to repeal the previous fees to include the updated user fees now

therefore

effective Resolution No 2017-06-CRA shall be deemed repealed and the CRA Review and

Processing Fee Schedule approved herein shall be in effect

WHEREAS the Rules of the Boca Raton Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) provide

for application review fees to be set by a resolution of the Board and

WHEREAS the Board desires to amend the CRA application process fee schedule by

updating the additional fees section to be consistent with City fees and

WHEREAS it is necessary to repeal the previous fees to include the updated user fees now

therefore

Section 2 If any section subsection clause or provision of this resolution is held invalid

the remainder shall not be affected by such invalidity

Section 3 All resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict herewith shall be and hereby

are repealed

Section 4 This resolution shall take effect October 1 2018 and upon becoming

effective Resolution No 2017-06-CRA shall be deemed repealed and the CRA Review and

Processing Fee Schedule approved herein shall be in effect

WHEREAS the Rules of the Boca Raton Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) provide

for application review fees to be set by a resolution of the Board and

WHEREAS the Board desires to amend the CRA application process fee schedule by

updating and adding application fees

WHEREAS it is necessary to repeal the previous fees to include the updated user fees now
