Academic Assistance

The Advising Hub website identifies many resources to help students succeed academically. In addition academic advising resources, you will find links to EOP, Peer Connections, ASPIRE, McNair Scholar Program, the Writing Center, as well as RoadMaps identifying courses for each semester to complete a degree on time. Counseling and Psychological Services sjsu.edu/counseling

Professionally trained psychologists, social workers, and counselors are available for students on an individual, couple, or group basis for counseling on a variety of psychological and academic issues.

The Student Wellness Center provides health care services, including basic primary care, limited specialty care, health promotion and disease prevention, principal support services (laboratory, pharmacy, physical therapy, radiology, nutrition), and limited mental health services to all registered SJSU students.

SJSU offers a number of resources and services on campus to help you deal with situations and issues outside of the classroom that may take away from your academic success. Some of those services include mentoring, counseling, health and wellness, and public safety assistance.
