Woolworths Cup Cricket Day 17 Oct

Bega ~ Blue & Green Groups.

Cricket Gala Day

On Wednesday Blue and Green

Group went to SCAC for a

cricket gala day. Green won 3/4

games and Blue lost all their games but that didn't stop us

from having fun. Green lost the first match but won the other

three. They had a canteen set up with free fruit for us to eat

so that was great. Koby Alexander

The students showed wonderful problem solving skills and team work in this weeks STEM challenge. We explored the renewable energy source of hydropower with particular interest in the Snowy Hydro Scheme. After investigating the inner workings of the dam, pipe and turbine systems the students created their own structures. It was such an engaging lesson that the students have asked that we explore hydro power further so stay tuned for some exciting projects! Keep those books coming

back each week too so that the students can continue to access all of the lovely books in our library. Happy reading, Mrs Collins.
