• Permanent exchange of information and effective cooperation: contact points; joint needs assessment and make use of all tools available and financial assistance

• Limiting secondary movements by discouraging movements to another border

• Providing shelter and rest to refugees• Managing the migration flows together:

registration, exchange of info, swift return policy• Increased efforts for border management and

tackling smuggling and trafficking• Information on the rights and obligations of

migrants and refugees : ‘no registration, no rights’• Commission to monitor implementation on an

weekly basis

• Commission services missions to Member States and third countries (incl. DG EMPL): missions to HR, SI, EL, AT, RO, HU,….

• Monitoring Committee meetings aim is to use the different EU funding instruments for contributing to tackling this challenge: needs assessment and coordination are key
