As library aide, you will have certain duties to perform each day. Some of these duties will be shared by all, and others will be yours alone. The grade you receive in this class will be based upon your knowledge and performance of those duties and your willingness to work with others. I will consider the first six weeks a training period after which you will be expected to perform your tasks without being told to do so. Never hesitate to ask questions about anything you do not understand.

Remember

These duties are required. After the first six weeks we will expect you to understand them and perform them without being told or reminded.

We are very serious about customer service, you must respect each patron that walks through the door. Do not argue with patrons, instead get Mrs. Pennington or Mrs. Stevens’ assistance.
