TRANSİST 2018 THEME: 4C
Cost : Population growth is advancing rapidly in today’s world. This progress is limiting livability by directly affecting economic conditions, especially in crowded cities. If benefit cost analysis is performed on improving network connections, transport can be efficient, sustainable and livable.
Capacity: Failure to comply with the capacity of roads is the most important reason that risks traffic management and safety. Long-term solutions can be produced by focusing on the transformation of people and individual transport needs for sustainable public transport and the livable future through improvements in transport network and capacity.
Congestion: One of the most problematic areas in traffic-intensive areas is traffic management. In terms of efficiency of traffic management, it should be ensured that transportation systems are solved through information and communication technologies to eliminate congestion and finding solutions to traffic jam.
Connection: In public transportation, increasing the linkages of transport networks and increasing the continuity of the optimization in order to increase the service quality and efficiency is one of the most important issues in terms of livability. The transportation system and transportation networks related to the subject can be improved and transport needs can be transformed to contribute to the mobility.
