Using both Illustrator & Photoshop to assist in the layout of the presentations, further research and development was utilized on several key topics of discussion like building location, progress status, architectural height, occupational usage, etc. - Completed a hand-made physical model of the Tribune Building that stands almost five feet tall. Used professional clay & chipboard, along with assisted use of laser cutting for smaller details. Designed in coordination with original blueprint scans made on a 3:8 scale. The model is designed to represent the use of thick load-bearing brick walls that stretched from the foundations to the top of the tower. On display at the Skyscraper Museum as of October 2016. - Gave private tours, both independently and assisted, of the museum both of our current exhibtion and the permanent archival section that document the history of tall skyscrapers and the World Trade Center both past and present. EXPERIENCE ParcOffice DESIGN INTERN June 2015 - August 2015 1) ADIDAS: created a physical model from styrafoam and starthmore showing spacial layout of the ground floor plate and inner partitions (fitting rooms, offices, mechanical, egress) 2) BRYAN GOLDBERG: assisted in the design and layout of a 5,000 sq.ft. loft with a detailed physical model that included floor textures, furniture layout, interior demolition and remodeling proposals. Made from styrfoam, strathmore and textured prints. 3) TRIBECA HOTEL: Helped in the design and proposal for a 10 story mixed-use hotel to be located in Tribeca using a physical model to denote architectural & visual clarity between the use of two main exterior claddings; metallic gray brick for the lower floors designed for enterntainment, music and art, and transluscent glass for the hotel suites located above the main setback. - The design reflects the idea of a paper lantern floating above the cobblestone streets in a zoning area that although limited the height, it did not stop us from creating a visual icon that can be recognized at night. Physical model created with styrafoam, strathmore, paint and frosted plexi glass made without laser cutting.
