Assisted VP of Academics: Kappa Kappa Gamma- Assisted with organization of freshman new member obligations Vice President of Organization: 2015: Kappa Kappa Gamma - Time Commitment: 3-4 hours a week Serves on Executive Council In charge of the chapter survey that is done at the end of Fall semester Calculate all results, analyze them, and send in to nationals Plan Leadership Day that takes place in January Make folders for each officer You are the main speaker at Leadership Day. You go over the chapter survey results, set goals for the chapter, do leadership exercises, and more. You also find a guest speaker for Leadership Day to talk about Kappas image on campus After Leadership Day you write the chapter Action Plan, which is centered around the 3 to 5 goals that Chapter Council sets for the upcoming year. Develop the Master Calendar for the upcoming year and send it to Nationals, the Advisory Board, Chapter Council, House Board, and the House Mom by April 1st. Keep Chapter Council informed each week about calendar items Plan all Nationals visits for example Leadership Consultant, Regional Director of Chapters. Get her room ready in the kappa house Get her to and from the airport Plan her whole schedule for her visit Assist the President with anything she may need Attend all chapter council and exec meetings Liaison for Miss Sorority Row Pageant Stay in contact with the Delta Sigma Phi representative Sell tickets to the freshmen Make sure that Kappa participant knows about the MSR meetings You need to be very organized, not afraid to speak in front of people, motivated to come up with new ideas to improve the chapter! Devote a lot of time to contacting advisors, nationals, all members of Gamma Pi and of chapter council

COMMUNITY SERVICE/OTHER ACTIVITIES: S.T.A.I.R Program- Mentoring program through Independence Presbyterian Church- Met twice a week with inner city Birmingham school to mentor students. Al Pals- Mentoring program through the University of Alabama- Met once a week at a local elementary school to mentor at risk children.
