Watershed Coordinator: Assisted with the development of the Watershed Base Plan which includes the 9 elements required by the EPA. Conducted parts of Phase I and II site assessments at the current water monitoring sites. Collected water samples for chemical analysis and measured flow. Created a report about the acid load within the watershed. Organized meetings with government officials including WVDEP, USFWS, USFS, and local groups. Analyzed data and interpreted information for further projects. Utilized all Microsoft programs to organize and analyze data. Acquired and retained the knowledge necessary to better understand water remediation. Spoke to the public on concerns involving the watershed. Experienced extreme weather conditions and uneven terrain to obtain necessary water quality information. Improved my knowledge on metals that contaminated the watershed including iron, aluminum, and manganese. Office Manager Organized office space and materials.
