IIT Kharagpur, Materials Science Centre Electrochemical properties and mechanism of ion transport in nano structured SbSn based novel nanocomposite anode for LIB(Lithium ion battery) (May'14 - July'14) • Prepared a novel composite three-dimensional nanostructured anode material using electrodeposition technique in LIBs to obtain high capacity and high rate capability and investigated the charge-discharge characteristics to find out the mechanism of ion transport Jindal Steel & Power Ltd. Blast Furnace Operations (May'13 - June'13) • Investigated all the undergoing processes for iron making in Blast furnace-2 at Jindal Steel & Power Ltd, Raigarh • Studied the metallurgy behind the operations and analysed the gas cleaning process in GSP(Gas cleaning plant) Nalwa Steel & Power Ltd. Vocational training (May '13 - June'13) • Studied microstructure & mechanical behavior of 500-D TMT rebars • Analysed the overall processing including DRI,SMS, PGP, HRM, and QA, reducing non metallic impurities for cleaner steels, basics of Quality control and mechanical testing(using universal testing machine and bend tests) methods prior to dispatch of steel rebars IIT ROORKEE Purification of Arsenic contaminated water using portable Zerovalent iron nanoparticles(NZVI). (B.TECH major) • Arsenic is among world's one of the greatest environmental threats. Nanosized zero valent iron particles(NZVI) possess excellent ability to remove both arsenate and arsenite from ground water. Synthesis of nanoparticles is done by mechanical route and characterisation of nanoparticles is being done using SEM, TEM, AAS and XRD. IIT ROORKEE LiCoO2 based structure for Lithium Ion Battery Cathode. • Thin film rechargeable lithium batteries with amorphous and crystalline Formula cathodes are being investigated. Their discharge capacities and electrochemical studies are being done using various techniques like Cyclic Voltammetry, discharge characteristics etc and also the impact caused by different methods of preparation are being studied.

Our aim is to create awareness and provide guidance regarding IPRs and obligations within the framework of the IPR policy of institute. i worked for the same cause of spreading the awareness via our activities in campus Photography Section,IIT ROORKEE (2013) • As a Coordinator of PHOTO-DE-FRIENDS An event of photography section held in Shrishti’13. Shrishti is the annual exhibition of our hobbies club COGNIZANCE (2012,2013) • Helped in organising Equistrata –women empowerment challenge, an event of cognizance 2013 held in 22-24 march’13. It held the presentations of various participant colleges on the topic women empowerment. Cognizance is our technical fest • Participated in Ideas presentation(dept of MMED) in Cognizance 2012 NSS (2011-2012) • Was an active member of NSS RT AWARENESS in year 2011-2012 • Performed nukkad nataks, Cloth collection drive and gave ppt's in nearby villages and schools for awareness of social issues.•Actively participated in blood donation camps.
