Description: Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum City / District One, total land area of over 1100 acres, from which over 400 acres are residential area and over 600 acres are open spaces, one of the world's lowest density residential developments. Here approximate 1500 villas and a small area at north with apartments.  The villa types consist of 4 to 8 bedrooms in three different styles – Contemporary, Modern Arabic and Mediterranean.  The Project key attraction is the water park with 7 km of lagoons (‘the Crystal Lagoon’) and man-made beaches. The largest Crystal Lagoon water body in the world. Besides the Crystal Lagoons, District One will foster many other attractions, such as: Multisport facilities, Promenades, Retail, Waterfront Dining, Jogging, Cycling and Horse Trails.

The Project consists in 5 phases. Phase 1 and 2 development is currently moving to construction stage.

Responsibilities:

Risk management to procurement, financial reporting and managing the supply chain. Preparation of variation cost plans. Preparing and presenting cash flow & cost management advice to management. Interpreting and offering advice on contract. Claims, including claims for additional payment and EOT's Cost Controlling of Variations and monthly billing. Responsible for check and certify the sub-contractors payment. Manage and control of the process of pricing variations. Negotiate measurement and pricing of variation submissions with the Client. Cross check quantities of received BOQs, quantity take off and preparation of BOQs. Rate analysis and computing site and other overheads and developing direct and indirect cost. Agreement of final accounts. Procuring required materials and equipment for projects at better buying rates.  Material submission approval from Consultant, negotiation, comparison statement. To negotiate and conclude procurement & vendor management.

PROJECTS WITH M/S ETA M&E DIVISION AS A SENIOR QUANTITY SURVEYORPROJECT 1:

Description: A multi-functional stadium, 25,000 seats In addition a six storey office building, a sports hall and external works comprising roads, car parking, playing fields and landscaping. This is 124.9 Million AED project with MEP.

PROJECT 2:

Description: The Cleveland Clinic is a multi specialty academic medical center. CCAD will house five clinic floors, three diagnostic and treatment levels and thirteen floors of critical and acute inpatient units totaling 364 beds. Additional space has been incorporated for operational and support departments, retailers, a conference center and a clinical simulation center, CCAD will be one of the largest medical centers in the Middle East. This is 1.632 Billion AED project with MEP

PROJECTS WITH M/S VOLTAS LIMITED AS A QUANTITY SURVEYORPROJECT 1:

Description: The Hotel has 46 stores and will rest on a 5 storey podium rising to a towering height of 255. Ground-floor is totally glazed and contains public facilities such as reception, lounge, all-day dining and 368 rooms and suites. The elliptical core is enclosed by two hotel wings and the circular segments that twist around the core. This is 200 million AED project with MEP.

Description: Etihad Towers is five stunning 1,2,3,4 & 5 Towers building, Floors in that order 69 floors Hotel, 74 floors Residential, 54 floors Office, 60 floors Residential, and 55 floors Residential. This was 500 million AED project with MEP.

OTHER PROJECT WITH NATIONAL THERMAL POWER PLANT AS A MECHANICAL ENGINEER Apart from these major projects I also worked in Badarpur Thermal Power Station (NTPC Ltd.) New Delhi-India, as a Mechanical Engineer Trainee and assisted them in their work.
