DESCRIPTION
I am a certified planner (AICP) with a master’s degree and over 13 years of planning experience. My background in planning is broad with experience in both the public sector and the private sector. Regionally, I have worked in the nation’s capital, the Rocky Mountains and in the Southeast. I have most recently been providing full-time planning consulting services to local governments in the Atlanta metro area with the Collaborative Firm, LLC. Prior to this, I worked as the Assistant Planning Director with the City of Auburn, Alabama where I was involved in all aspects of planning for the city. Duties there included membership on the technical advisory committee of the local Metropolitan Planning Organization and serving as the primary liaison to the historic preservation commission. In Springville, Utah, south of Salt Lake City I was a senior-level planner. My planning career began in the Maryland suburbs of Washington, DC where I was a staff member of the Montgomery County Council, a county with a strong national reputation for progressive and proactive planning practices. This resume outlines my experience and interests in more detail. I can be reached at the above address, telephone number or e-mail address and would be pleased to talk with you. Thank you for your consideration. Sincerely, Carl T. Morgan, AICP, MCPTRANSCRIPT
