Store Manager 2010-2013 U.S. Cellular, Chicago, IL Successfully developed, coached and managed leadership, sales and operations teams for two locations to meet store sales goals. Took team from second to last place to first place in sales for my region within the first three months of promotion. Accountable for reaching company set sales goals and holding team and management responsible for meeting their sales goals. Responsible for the supervision and development of two sales managers, three technicians and an inventory coordinator. Responsible for all store operations including inventory, shrinkage, scheduling, managing store budget, supply requisition, sales contests and outside sales events. Served on many committees for the company including the Pride Team and the Continuous Improvement Team. One of three Sales Managers in the entire Chicago market to teach Sales Academy- the company's new approach to selling. Became adept at Change Management when the company left the Chicago market. Was asked to manage a store for ninety days that transitioned to a Sprint location. The Wicker Park location was the #1 store in the downtown Chicago region for 2012.

Spearheaded continuing sales training for the entire Chicago market. Was one of three trainers to travel the market to teach new selling strategies. Won the 2011 Dynamic Leader Award for Outstanding Performance.

Regional Sales Trainer 2007-2009 CarMax Auto Superstores, Kenosha, WI Lead trainer for the Kenosha, Milwaukee and Northern Illinois regions as well as assistant trainer for the Chicago suburban locations. Taught Sales Training, eCommerce Selling, Sales Mentor Training and Sales Manager Development classes. Conducted monthly store visits mentoring new and struggling sales consultants.Taught one-on-one ongoing Sales Training classes while on these visits. Developed an On-Board Training Manual for new Regional Sales Trainers. Traveled to new stores throughout the country teaching above mentioned training classes and assisted with store grand openings. Ran seven cellular phone stores in Chicago, Chicagoland suburbs, Cleveland, Cincinnati and Columbus, OH. Supervised a total of 70 employees. Recruited, hired, on-boarded and performance managed all new employees. Developed strategies to improve sales at each location. Traveled to a different location every week to monitor and observe each store's progress. Spearheaded weekly sales/strategy meetings with all store managers. Resolved customer issues.
