EMERGENCY ROOM To provide immediate attention and care to patients who are brought to the ER. Provides direct and indirect patients care activities and professional nursing service required in the nursing care of pa-
tients in the ER. Utilizes nursing process: Admit patient, obtain nursing history, identifying care priorities assess patient problems, and de-
velop patient care plans. Observer patient and institute appropriate measures in emergency and crisis situation. Administer and records medication, cognizant of reactions and report harmful side effects. Adheres to nursing service and emergency room policies and procedures in performance of patient care activities. To provide and maintain hospital records of the service rendered to emergency and out-patients treated in the emergency
room.
MEDICAL WARD NURSE
Responsibilities include providing total nursing care to the assigned group of patients. Performs nursing procedures needed. Coordinates with the member of the health team in the management of the patients and family. The responsibility where to detect untoward manifestation of patients and identify other nursing procedures and tech-
niques. Make rounds with physicians, discuss plan of care then execute legal orders of the doctors concerning treatment and
medication. Checked the charts of all assigned patient at the end of the shift to ensure that record reflects patients’ condition and the
care rendered. Follow-up laboratory/radiology report and alert physician if needed. Analyze and identify client needs and goals. Prepare patients for discharge, organize follow up care.
SURGICAL WARD NURSE Provide comprehensive care to all newly operated patients. Prepare patient pre-operative and post operative. Laboratory works/ results are in the patient file. Any abnormal changes should be reported to the attending surgeon. Prepare patient for surgery see to it that pre operation order has been all carried out. Bring patient to the operating room and see to it that set up was prepared. General post-operative cares, monitor patient, check vital signs, and note any untoward signs and symptoms and change
dressing as necessary.

ECG Machine, Mechanical Ventilator, Infusion Pumps, Syringe Pumps, Suction Apparatus, Cardiac Monitors and Defibril-lator.
