Scholar’s Latino Initiative, Site Co-Coordinator, Chapel Hill, NC (May 2015 – Present) • SLI is a mentor program for Latina/o identified students in their senior year of high school and

aims to provide mentees with the tools necessary to obtain college admission, financial assistance, and academic success at a four-year college by providing mentoring, college prep programming and cultural email

• Duties include with the site regarding events, assignments, and news pertaining to SLI; responsible for communicating with the admissions coordinator in order to organize mentee selection in their site and mentee-mentor pairings, communicating with the Community Engagement Co-Chairs to plan on-site events and promoting and building the “SLI culture” within their site
