Due to Market System rules and privacy, the information that you can view under NMI / Premises Search is limited depending on whether you are the current FRMP of the premises, or whether you are not the current FRMP of the premises.

Search for a NMI / Premises
To locate the premises, you can search either by:

Search by NMI
The NMI identifies the premises. An Energex NMI will start with QB or 31, and may be entered as 11 characters (includes check digit) or 10 characters (excludes check digit).
1. Enter in the NMI number and click on Search 2. When the address appears in the Address Search Results, you will need to click to select the correct
address.
NEED TO KNOW: You will receive a pop‐up box message if you enter a NMI number which is Extinct. You cannot view details on an Extinct NMI. Definition: Whenever the connection metering point is removed (supply abolishment has been completed) the NMI is made Extinct. When a new connection metering point is required, a new NMI will be allocated.

Meter Number
You have the ability to search for a premises by entering in the meter number for the address. A valid meter number is 6 or 7 numbers, optionally prefixed by a meter source code.
1. Enter in the Meter Number and click on Search 2. If you enter a meter number without the source code, you may receive more than one Address
Search Results. Click on the correct address if more than one option has been returned.
NEED TO KNOW: If the meter number is less than 6 numbers, you will need to add zeros to the front of the number to complete the format.

Address
You can search for an address by entering in as much information as you have on the premises. You can search by street, suburb or postcode and refine the search by adding the street, lot or unit number.
i. There are a number of ways that you can search for the premises in the Enter Street and Suburb/Postcode field.
Let’s look at the options for searching on the address 26 REDDACLIFF STREET, NEWSTEAD, 4006. The more information you enter, the more specific your search results will be.
Postcode and Street
i. Type in 4006 Reddacliff – which is the postcode and the street name
If you can’t find your premises by just the postcode and street name (for example, 4006 Reddacliff), add in the Street Type abbreviation at the end.

Select your Street and Suburb/Postcode
1. Click on the correct Street and Suburb from the drop down list. For example, REDDACLIFF ST NEWSTEAD QLD 4006.
2. Your selection will then remain in the Street and Suburb/Postcode field and a green tick will appear
beside the box to confirm your selection is valid.
3. Once you have selected the correct Street and Suburb, you have the option to either search with or without the Street No., Lot No or Unit No.
a. If you don’t know the Street No., Lot No. or Unit No. click on Search for Address to
continue. This will return all premises located on the Street and Suburb/Postcode selected. For example, all premises located on REDDACLIFF ST NEWSTEAD QLD 4006.
Look for the correct address in the search results using the scroll bar on the right hand side (if needed). Click on the correct address to retrieve the NMI / Premises Details.
Extinct NMIs will appear in your search list, however you unable to select an Extinct NMI.

b. If you know the Street No., Lot No or Unit No. for the premises, enter this in the fields provided and click on Search for Address.
If you have more than one search result returned, look for the correct address in the search results using the scroll bar on the right hand side (if needed). Click on the correct address to retrieve the NMI / Premises Details.
Lot and Plan
You have the ability to search for a premises by entering in the Lot Number and Plan Number; both must be entered to return search results. You can enter the plan number with or without the characters at the beginning. For example, you can enter in 12345 or RP12345.
1. Enter in the Lot Number and Plan Number and click on Search. 2. If you have more than one search result returned, look for the correct address in the search results using the
scroll bar on the right hand side (if needed). Click on the correct address to retrieve the NMI / Premises Details.
NEED TO KNOW: You can enter the plan number with or without the characters at the beginning. For example, you can enter in 12345 or RP12345. If you enter the plan with the characters this implies an exact search and will only search on RP 12345. If you enter the plan without the characters the search results will return any premises containing plan number 12345 (form example RP12345, SP12345 etc.).

NMI / Premises Details Results
Premises Details
The Premises Details section provides NMI information and address details.
Field Description
Life Support Status This field indicates whether sensitive load or life support is registered against the NMI. Options will be None, Sensitive Load or Life Support. (Only displayed if the retailer enquiring is the FRMP for the premises in question)
NMI Status This is the current status for this NMI.
De‐en Lodged If the premises has a De‐en Service Order request lodged for completion. This Service Order will be completed within the obligation timeframes unless a Re‐en Service Order is received.
Re‐en Appointment Required
If this premise is De‐energised, then this field will indicate if the Re‐en request requires a Visual Inspection Appointment. The messages that may display include:
5 hour appointment required to complete Re‐en visual
No visual Re‐en appointment required
Reminder: The information that you can view under NMI / Premises Search is limited depending on whether you are the current FRMP of the premises, or whether you are not the current FRMP of the premises.
Results as at… will display the date and time the information is generated from the Energex systems. This information is considered ‘real‐time’ information.
View Service Orders will take you to the Service Order screen to view information about open and closed Service Orders for this NMI.

Retailer Details lists who the Current and Previous FRMP is and the Responsible From Date for the Current FRMP. (Note: ‘Current FRMP’ and ‘Responsible From Date’ will only be displayed if the retailer enquiring is the FRMP for the premises in question.)
Micro Embedded Generation Details
Solar Inverter kW will display completed installation capacity of Micro Embedded Generation (including Solar). (Note: ‘Solar Inverter kW’ will only be displayed if the retailer enquiring is the FRMP for the premises in question.)
Other Details
Field Description
Customer Classification Whether the classification is Residential or Business.
NMI Class This is the current NMI Class for this NMI.
Customer Threshold Code (CTC) CTC is a consumption based indicator for the premises.

Service Order Results
Field Description
NMI All Service Orders relate to this NMI
Received Date/Time This is the date and time the Service Order was received by Energex systems.
Initiating Participant This is the FRMP who has submitted the Service Order. This is not necessarily the Current FRMP for the premises.
Service Order Number This is the Retailer Service Order Reference.
Requested Type‐SubType The Request Type and Sub Type of the Service Order submitted.
Service Order Status The current status of the Service Order in Energex’s systems. Possible status values are; Request Received, Awaiting Customer Callback, Work Scheduled, Business Rejected, Not Completed, Partially Completed or Completed
View button By clicking on View this will allow you to view the details of that particular Service Order.
The information icon provides additional information regarding the Service Order status.
Reminder: The information that you can view under Service Order Search is limited to whether you are the initiating FRMP of the service order for the premises, or whether you are not the initiating FRMP.
Once you select the premises, you will receive a summary page of all Service Orders at a status of Open and any Service Orders at a status of Closed within 180 days (for the NMI selected)

Click on the to view information on the Service Order status. For example: If the Service Order is at a status of Business Rejection Sent, the related event severity, event code and description can be found in the information icon.
If the Service Order is at a status of Not Completed or Partially Completed, the exception details description can be found in the information icon. A service order at a status of Completed, Not Completed or Partially Completed may show supplemental information that was provided in the service order response.

Field Description
Requested Type This is the type of service order request submitted.
Requested SubType This is the sub‐type of the service order request submitted.
Initiating Participant The Retailer who raised the Service Order request with Energex.
Energex Reference This is Energex’s reference number for the service order in question.
Retailer Reference This is the Retailer’s Service Order reference number.
Appointment Start Date This is the date of the appointment that Energex has set with the customer (if applicable).
Obligation End Date This is the Obligation End Date mandated for this Service Order type.
Service Order Status This is the current status within the Energex system for this Service Order. Refer to the 1.1 – Service Order Status table.
Exception Code This field provides additional details related to Not Completed, Partially Completed or Business Rejected Service Orders. Refer to the 1.2 – Exception Code / Description table.
Service Order Response Note The content of this field is variable and is not based upon a set list of standard responses. Service Order Response Notes are mandatory if an Exception Code / Description value of Other, Service Provider Cancellation, or Documentation Not Provided is provided, or the Service Order Status is Partially Completed.

Related Electrical Work Request (EWR) Details
If the Service Order is linked to an Electrical Work Request in the Energex system, information will be displayed in the Related Electrical Work Request Details section. If any information is incorrect, the customer will need to contact their electrician to resubmit a new EWR.
Related Network Connection Application (CONNECT) Details
If there is a Network Connection Application for Embedded Generation (including Solar) the Reference Number will displayed in this section.
Form 3 Details
If there is a Form 3 against the NMI / premises, the details will be display for your reference in the Form 3 Details section.

Planned Interruptions Search
What can I see as a Retailer for Planned Interruptions Search?
The Notification Method and Notification Date are recorded in real time and therefore will not be available until the date the notification has been actioned. Visibility will be dependent on whether you are the current Financially Responsible Market Participant (FRMP). In the following example the FRMP has conducted the search:
