Mission

As a company with a strong history and architectural design legacy, we are committed to taking customer care to a new level of quality, by rethinking the way we develop new products and services, how we bring them to market, and how we service and support our customers. Customer care is about creating delight!

Core development values:• Quality – it’s about craftsmanship• Sustainability – it’s about a

lifetime investment • Zero-Barriers – it’s about functionality

Vision

We believe in:• The simple – not the complex• Design that provides the optimal

value-for-money solution – making life better, easier, and made to last

• Investing resources in business, markets, and products where we make a significant contribution

• Saying no to hundreds of projects – in order to focus on those that provide true value

• Teamwork and a culture of market intelligence and excellence through out the entire business network

Goal

• Establish a committed, quality distribution network

• Build ‘innovative’ product ranges with a competitive edge, addressing our customers’ needs and frustrations, thereby taking advantage of new technology when it makes sense

• Providing the total solution. And being able to offer bespoke product solutions when doing so adds extra value to us and our customer

• Win strong positions by knowing our customers

• Using modern, digital tools to become more accessible – and make us appear closer

• Provide solid documentation for each product, in order to gain trust and be acknowledged as experts

• Ship our most popular items within 48 hours

Manufacturing – dedicated craftsmanship and timely delivery

The d line design philosophy is founded on Knud Holscher’s strong vision. Highly skilled craftsmanship being a key element. Every step from idea to launch is done with dedication. It’s what makes us able to deliver the same high quality today as in the past. Our responsibility to sustainability is about producing design with long life – up to 70% is made of recycled steel. It’s a lifetime investment. d line is Danish by heritage, but international at heart. We work with the best architectural design-ers worldwide. These designers chose d line as their preferred partner because we understand their design vision. It’s important for us to make product development with the user in mind, and whenever it makes sense to take advantage of new technology. Developing the CUT lever handle in cooperation with the architect and occupational therapists, or the FRIDAY internet connected smartphone lock based on an international development platform is the approach we like to take. We have our own production facility and are therefore in total cost- and price control. Also, we are committed to ship all standard products within 48hours. We take pride in taking customer care to a new quality level.

The total solution – by Knud Holscher

This range is probably the safest, most flexible, and most future-proof, in the world! Knud Holscher is a legend and the last of the major Danish architects still living who has worked side by side with Arne Jacobsen, one of the greatest Danish postwar architectural heroes. Holscher’s influence is unavoidable in the design category for everyday life. He does not create objects. His vision is about things that work and therefore slip into our daily lives – maybe without our knowing it. Because they are thorough in every detail. Because the quality is made to last. Because the design is intuitive and the comfort ergonomic. What Knud Holscher does best is approach design as a whole to create a completeness across contexts. Each item is so worked through that you never doubt its function. Think of the d line toilet brush holder for which the lid conceals the brush. Or the d line soap dispenser that, even twenty years after its introduction, is still timeless and unique. The d line sanitary panel system designed to enable the architect to mix and match modules as he pleases. And of course, probably the most complete hardware range to supply everything needed for a high functioning door. For d line and for other brands, Holscher has received 70-80 international design awards. We call the wall-mounted sanitary line, SQUARE. Our bathroom range, CLASSIC. And the lever handles are simply named after their shapes. Facts:• 4x grinding - unmatched surface treatment• The unique ‘sharp bend formular’• One range, several finishes: brushed, polished, color• Flexible - bespoke or modular design• AISI 316 stainless steel

Introducing the Collection of IKONS by d line

IKONS are design classics born from passion! In the 1950s, an iconic designer, through a passion for true handcraft and striving towards perfection, created the first architec-turally designed lever handle. This designer was the renowned Arne Jacobsen. For d line the AJ lever handles was the beginning of an iconic collection of beautifully designed lever handles – Collection of IKONS. All made between 1950 and today with Bjarke Ingels being our most recent IKON addition. The development of the internet connected smartphone lock for the conscious home, is based on an international devel-opment platform with BIG and Friday Labs.

Today IKONS is a hardware range – but it need not be in the future. We would like to invite you into the amazing world of the Collection of IKONS, where you can discover truly unique lever handles in various materials and shapes, and experience the ideas and inspiration behind them. Every lever handle comes with a unique story. The Collection of IKONS is d line’s tribute to the exceptional work of a selection of architectural designers. We enjoy working with the best.

Unique hand-made

It’s space-saving and safeDanfoss favour the all-in-one solution

It unlocks faster and cleans better and faster, with no obstacles on the floor. Each module has a snap-lock, which in combination with a new improved lock, releases all individual modules in one quick go. It’s easy to operate and easy to refill. If needed you can take out each individual module. The panel system was designed with the user in mind, not to adapt to a certain manu-facturing process.

· Installation in 15-20 minutes

· One-point locking mechanism – turn the key and all modules opens. It automatically relocks

· Low maintenance

· Maximum wall projection of 21mm

· Shallow recess depth of only 106mm, and width 306mm

· Varying hight from 342mm to 1692mm depending on how you chose to mix the modules

In 2008 the multinational company Danfoss chose white d line washroom panels as their preferred choice. 2016 Danfoss installed another 41 panels: “We like d line panels because design matters to us and our corporate image. And it’s very practical to have everything within one frame – and nothing standing on the floor”, states Berit Christensen, Interior Design at Danfoss Global Service.

Danish Design by heritage

Back in the 1960s, young Knud Holscher was put in charge of Sct. Catherine’s College in

Oxford by world-famous architect and designer Arne Jacobsen. Holscher couldn’t find

lever handles or bathroom accessories designed as a unified line. This was the beginning

of d line. Together with great Danes such as VOLA, Louis Poulsen and Fritz Hansen d line

share the heritage of design created by Arne Jacobsen.

Where’s the next big thing?

As a Danish based architectural design company d line’s design legacy has deep

root in the Danish tradition of creating new mega trends: New Nordic cuisine has

become famous in recent years, and Nordic Noir film is gaining a worldwide reputation

even as we speak. At d line we have initiated a new design cooperation with the

Bjarke Ingels Group, as we believe BIG will become the next big thing ...
