How to Access your NWEA MAP Survey w/ Goals Test Results

1. Open Internet Explorer and go to: www.nwea.org

2. Click on REPORTS LOGIN (located to the right of NWEA logo on the top center of the page).

3. Enter your Username & Password and click Log on.

A new window will open

You are now login

Look to the left on your screen

Under “MENU” everything in green are the links to access your class roster and various reports

4. To view your class roster and/or to view a list of all MAP tests a students has taken and/or to view a student Actual Growth and Typical/Expected Growth over the time period

On left side of screen (left navigation bar), under Online Reports, click on “CLASS ROSTERS”:

CLASS ROSTERS 1. Click on “CLASS ROSTER” located on the left side of the page 2. Next to “SELECT TERM”, click on the down arrow and select the term and year (Fall 2010) 3. Next to “SELECT CLASS”, click on the down arrow and select your class section you wish

to view 4. Click on “SUBMIT”

Click on the class name to get a PDF file with all of the STUDENT PROGRESS REPORTS for this class

5. To view your class roster/list of students in a specific grade level or at a classroom level NWEA performance with their RIT Score:

On left side of screen (left navigation bar), under Online Reports, click on one of the following links:

Grade by Subject OR Class by Subject These reports give a summarized list of student RIT scores by subject for one grade level.

GRADE BY SUBJECT 1. Click on “GRADE BY SUBJECT” located on the left side of the page 2. Next to “SELECT TERM”, click on the down arrow and select the term and year (FALL

2010) 3. Next to “SELECT GRADE”, click on the down arrow and select the grade you wish to

view (9th or 10th). 4. Next to “SELECT SUBJECT”, click on the down arrow and select the subject you wish

to view 5. Next to “SELECT GROUPING”, leave it as TEST NAME 6. Next to “SELECT SORT ORDER, leave it as STUDENT NAME 7. Click on “SUBMIT”

Grade By Subject Report Use the selection criteria below and then press Submit to generate a Grade By Subject report.

To group all your test results into a single table choose None from the Select Grouping drop down list.

9. Note the following: Tests shown in gray font are excluded from summary statistics. Either the test occurred outside the testing window for a term, had an invalid score, was a repeat test for a student within a term, or was a MAP for Primary Grades test segment. Summary statistics for groups with less than 10 students are generally suppressed because they are not statistically reliable.

Teacher Reports This gives a list of students in your class with their overall performance on each test (RIT score) as well as performance by standard (LO = percentile is < 34, AV = percentile is between 66 & 34; 34 < AV < 66, HI = percentile is > 66). At the Select Term box, select Spring 2010; at the Goal Scores box, select View by Goal Descriptors.

6. To view reports that show a breakdown of your class of students into different RIT performance categories/levels AND a list of skills that students are ready to learn:

6. Review this report and then click on a student’s name to retrieve a PDF file that

lists the specific skills that the student is currently ready to learn (middle column), based on the student’s RIT score range for this standard (goal area).

7. To view reports that show Teacher Class Overview Default, Teacher class Overview, Goal by RIT Band, Grade by RIT Band, RIT to Reading Range Report, Student Booklist Student Goal Setting Worksheet and/or Student Projected Performance:
