Retinol, the pure alcohol form of the vitamin A, is known to be the gold standard in the skin ageing. It visibly improves the appearance of ne lines and wrinkles, increases skin rmness and smoothness, and evens out dark spots and age spots. Vitamin A palmitate is the ester form most widely used in the anti-ageing formulations thanks to its stability. It induces epidermal thickening as well as increases collagen accumulation in the dermis eventually resulting in a stronger skin barrier function and skin smoothness. B3 Niacinamide PC Vitamin B3 (niacinamide) is a very stable vitamin which o�ers a wide range of well-documented topical benets. It is a popular and widely used skin-lightening ingredient. However, its activity prole goes far beyond this: niacinamide may enhance the e�cacy of products designed for blemished skin, dry and sensitive skin or anti-wrinkle treatment. DSM o�ers a special cosmetic grade of niacinamide, Niacinamide PC, which has a low level of residual nicotinic acid to address any concerns about unpleasant skin sensations.
B5 Panthenol

B9 Folic acid
Folic acid is a powerful active in skin and sun care, with the ability to ght photoaging as well as general signs of aging. It slows premature skin aging by stimulating skin cells such as brobroblasts, while preventing DNA damage at the same time.
C STAY-C® 50
Our stable cosmetic vitamin C specialty STAY-C® 50 is a powerful antioxidant and multi-talent active addressing almost every skin care concern from acne to UV damage. STAY-C® 50 is an approved quasi-drug active ingredient for whitening products in Japan. 3D-skin-model and in vivo studies have demonstrated its intense skin lightening activity.
Vitamin C demonstrates synergistic antioxidant activity with vitamin E.
While STAY-C® 50 (Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate) is the active water-soluble ingredient that delivers vitamin C e�ciency in cosmetic preparations, ascorbyl
palmitate is an oil-soluble vitamin C antioxidant that protects cosmetic emulsions and oils against oxidation.
E Vitamin E
Vitamin E is the most widely used active ingredient in Personal Care. Its central role in Personal Care is that of a strong antioxidant, capturing free oxygen radicals generated by exposure to UV-light or pollution and preventing further damage. Generally, the addition of vitamin antioxidants (vitamin E and vitamin C) improves the photoprotection provided by sunscreens as a biological second line of defense against UV-induced premature skin aging.
In the form of tocopheryl acetate(dl-α-Tocopheryl Acetate), vitamin E is extremely stable in formulations. Indeed, this is the vitamin compound of choice for cosmetic preparations to deliver maximum vitamin e�cacy. In the form of tocopherols (dl-α-Tocopherol and Mixed Tocopherols) it is mostly used to stabilize oxygen-sensitive ingredients in formulations.
K1 Vitamin K1
Vitamin K1 has an important role in regulating blood circulation. In consequence, as a cosmetic ingredient it has the ability to improve skin imperfections which are related to vascular conditions, such as dark circles under the eyes.Not permitted in EU, ANDEAN, and ASEAN countries,Korea or India for cosmetic products.

Vitamin E is the most widely used active ingredient in Personal Care. Its central role in Personal Care is that of a strong antioxidant, capturing free oxygen radicals generated by exposure to UV-light or pollution and preventing further damage. Generally, the addition of vitamin antioxidants (vitamin E and vitamin C) improves the photoprotection provided by sunscreens as a biological second line of defense against UV-induced premature skin aging.
In the form of tocopheryl acetate(dl-α-Tocopheryl Acetate), vitamin E is extremely stable in formulations. Indeed, this is the vitamin compound of choice for cosmetic preparations to deliver maximum vitamin e�cacy. In the form of tocopherols (dl-α-Tocopherol and Mixed Tocopherols) it is mostly used to stabilize oxygen-sensitive ingredients in formulations.
K1 Vitamin K1
Vitamin K1 has an important role in regulating blood circulation. In consequence, as a cosmetic ingredient it has the ability to improve skin imperfections which are related to vascular conditions, such as dark circles under the eyes.Not permitted in EU, ANDEAN, and ASEAN countries,Korea or India for cosmetic products.
