Composition Prize 2012

Grand Prize: • $1500 (CAD) • At least two performances by members of Reveille during

the 2012-2013 season • A short video presentation promoting the winning piece • A publishing contract with qPress

Runner-Up: • $500 (CAD) • A publishing contract with qPress

Guidelines for Entrants

• Unpublished, unpremiered works for trumpet (one player, all doublings) and percussion (one player) of at least 6 minutes length

• Feasibility of the percussion setup will be taken into account in the judging process

• Open to all emerging composers • All submissions must be PDF-format

computer-generated scores (Finale, Sibelius, etc…) accompanied by a midi or mp3 realisation

• All scores will be anonymized by contest coordinator prior to distribution to the jury

• No entry fee

All materials must be received by June 1, 2012
