POWER OVER ETHERNET FEATURE Switch has intelligent Power management feature solving a major problem of powering the device for ISPs. This

switch can be powered using Remote Power from customer end using specially designed reliable NETMODEM

from us or any standard PoE Injector (24V DC, 0.75 AMP). This eliminates the need to arrange for power at

building top and no UPS is needed / no money to be paid to society/power providing customer. This saves lot of

MONEY for ISPs and improves service delivery with uninterrupted service to the customer.

DESCRIPTION

Model IC-1080 is 8 Port 10/100Mbps Switch which is latest generation of fast Ethernet switching technology. It

contains 7 Downlink 10/100Base-TX ports (Reverse PoE Ports) plus one UPLINK 10/100BaseT Port (PoE OUT

Port, 24V) (Other PoE OUT Voltage available 12V, 48V).

Model IC-1071F is 8 Port 10/100Mbps Switch which is latest generation of fast Ethernet switching technology. It

contains 7 Downlink 10/100Base-TX ports (Reverse PoE Port) plus one UPLINK 100BaseFX Port (Single Mode,

Single Fiber (Bidirectional), 20km, SC Connector)

The Switch uses store-and-forward switching to ensure maximum data integrity. The switch supports auto

sensing, Auto-Negotiation and IEEE 802.3x Flow Control standard which eliminate packet loss in heavy traffic

conditions. All ports also support auto MDI/MDI-X feature, eases the selection of cable type for devices

connectivity and provide a completely flexible high performance Non-blocking full wire speed solution. Switch

also offers Port Isolation/ Port based VLAN, priority and Broadcast Storm Control features.

SMART Traffic Management Features The management features include port-based VLAN/Port Isolation (Can be enabled/Disabled using DIP Switch) port security. It also has limited priority feature for providing priority to traffic from three user ports (Port 1,2,3 : Enabled/Disabled using DIP Switch). Switch also supports Broadcast storm control by providing

a DIP switch to enable / disable the same.

VLAN / Port Isolation

Switch works on Intelligent Power Management Feature (IPM), IPM enable switch to source power from

customer’s Net modem. (Sourced from us or any standard PoE Injector (12V to 24V DC)) under reverse PoE Technology and this eliminates need of any external source for electricity /UPS/Power Providing by Customer.

This saves money and creates convenience to the operator (ISP) with uninterrupted service to the customer.

Supports Auto-Negotiation Each of the Switch’s ports automatically detect whether connected network devices are running at 10Mbps or

100Mbps and half-duplex or full-duplex mode, and adjusts the speed and mode accordingly ensuring easy and

hassle-free operation.

Supports Non-Blocking Wire Speed The Switch forwards and receives traffic seamlessly with its non-blocking wire-speed. Every port of the Switch

supports speeds up to 200Mbps in full-duplex mode simultaneously, providing full wire speed to connected

devices and allowing you to run a high speed network smoothly.

IEEE Energy Efficient Ethernet (EEE) Compliance Along with the Fast Ethernet speeds critical for next-generation network applications, the StarIntelliConnect

Series switch offers environmental efficiency. To comply with the IEEE802.3az standard, the Switch provides

power saving functionality to reduce energy consumption and save costs:

Inactive Link Detection When a network device is shut down and/or an inactive link is detected, the power usage adjustment feature

automatically reduces power usage. The switch’s power consumption will be dynamically adjusted according to

the link status and the number of active network devices.

Cable Length Detection Devices equipped with this feature automatically detect the length of connected Ethernet cables and adjust

power usage accordingly. The shorter the cable length, the less power it consumes.

Easy to Use The Switch IC-10XX is plug-and-play and supports a wide range of network protocols. Installation and network

management is quick and straightforward, and clear and convenient LED indicators display easy to read port

and switch status.
