REVIEW CHECK LIST TELKOMNIKA (Telecommunication Computing Electronics and Control)

Title of the paper: Perceptions of the Management Lines towards the Success of E-Performance Reporting System Author: A’ang Subiyakto*, Dhita Septiandani, Evi Nurmiaty, Yusuf Durachman No. The Review Points Actions for Revisions 1. Is your manuscript written in the TELKOMNIKA

(Telecommunication Computing Electronics and Control) format? At this stage, it is not that essential that you follow every detail of TELKOMNIKA format. (http://telkomnika.ee.uad.ac.id/n9/files/guide%20for%20authors%202012%20new.docx). Please try to follow the format as closely as possible.

Authors tried to write the manuscript following the TELKOMNIKA’s writing guidance standard.

2. - Is your title adequate and is your abstract correctly written?

- The title of paper is max 10 words, without Acronym or abbreviation.

- The Abstract (MAX 200 WORDS) should be informative and completely self-explanatory (no citation in abstract), provide a clear statement of the problem, the proposed approach or solution, and point out major findings and conclusions.

- Yes, the title and abstract of the paper were written correctly.

- Yes, the title consisted of 11 words, without acronym or abbreviation.

- The abstract was written in around 165 words.

3. - Authors are suggested to present their articles in the section structure: Introduction – The explanation of the Proposed Method/Algorithm (optional) - Research Method - Results and Discussion – Conclusion.

- Structure of the paper was staked in six sections, including: 1. Introduction, including the background, problem,

purpose, and objective of the study. 2. Literature Review, including the short literature

review, theoretical framework and the hypothesis development

3. Research Method, including the procedure, population and sample, data collecting, sampling, tools, data analysis method, and the interpretation parts.

4. Analysis Results, including the descriptive (the demography information) and inferential (the outer and inner assessment of the model) results of the analysis stages.

5. Discussions, including the discussions of the findings, contributions, limitations, and the recommendations of the study.

6. Conclusion, summarizes the paper, in respect of its highlighted points in particular.

4. The author is also suggested to describe the real problem existing (to be listed in the References) in “introduction section” in order to satisfy the criteria of this scientific journal which has to introduce any novelties, improvement etc from the research work prior to the problem solving done or proposed by the author as a significant contribution. This critical point is available in the guideline for the author provided by the Editor.

The introduction section of the paper has represented clearly the real problem that covered performance of this study.

5. The results of research and analysis are NOT incisively provided in the paper. You should improve your analyzing and also present the comparison between performance of your approach and other researches. It is very important to prove that your manuscript has a significant value and not trivial.

This point has pointed out in the results and discussion section. In addition, the significant contributions related to the previous studies have provided together with the limitation of the study as the academic ethics in order to provide a reference point of the upcoming studies.

6. Please be sure that the manuscript is up to date. It is expected that 10 to 20% of references are to recent papers.

Publication time of the references: Years ∑ % < 5 25 60.98 5-10 9 21.95 > 10 7 17.07 41 100

This table shows that around 61% of the references have been published in the last five years.

7. What is a likelihood of citation of your manuscript? Please notice that very soon your technical accomplishments will be evaluated based on the number of citations but not based on the number of papers published. Therefore, your paper should very clearly describe your accomplishments so other people can understand what is your original contribution.

God willing, it has been author’s consideration during the publication works.

8. Is the manuscript clearly written? Is the article exciting? Does the content flow well from one section to another? Please try to keep your manuscript on the proper level. It should be easy to understand by well qualified professionals, but at the same time please avoid describing well known facts (use proper references instead). Often manuscripts receive negative reviews because reviewers are not able to understand the manuscript and this is authors' (not reviewers') fault. Notice, that if reviewers have difficulties, then other readers will face the same problem and there is no reason to publish the manuscript.

The paper has reinvestigated to present a good academic paper especially the English, logical flows, and structure of the paper.

9. Do you have enough references? We will usually expect a minimum of 10 to 25 references primarily to journal papers (min 50%), depending on the length of the paper. Citations of textbooks should be used very rarely and citations to web pages should be avoided. All cited papers should be referenced within the text of the manuscript.

- Types of the References:

Type of References ∑ % Journal Papers 33 80.5 Conference Papers 4 9.8 Books/ Book Chapter 3 7.3 Institutional Reports 1 2.4 Thesis - - Total 41 100

This table shows that over 80% of the references are the primarily journal papers.

- Authors cited the references following the TELKOMNIKA format by using the EndNote program.

- The similarity index of the paper based on the Turnitin with about 8% excluded the quotes and its bibliography (see Attachment).

10. Please be aware that for the final submission of regular paper you will be asked to tailor your paper so the last page is not half empty.

This point has implemented in the paper writing.
