Lukas woke next to a frighteningly lovely she demon with elegant porcelain skin and knobby brown horns. The beauty of such vicious creatures never seized to amaze him. The more he replayed last night in his head the more he couldn’t wait for Gyron to find out the General had bedded one of his precious ‘daughters’. Surely the orc Lord would fume for weeks before he had the balls to seek revenge.

Until that time arrived, Lukas would continue to use the little gash as he saw fit. Evidence of this shows in bruises and tiny cuts on the young demons beautiful face. She was ever the rough little wench and hat alone is what made Lukas call on her. He loved to spray blood and she was a brutally submis-sive lover. It worked. For now.

Lukas grabbed the she demon by the chin jerking her roughly awake. He kissed her violently before tossing her head back on the pillow.

“Get out.” His voice was tired and only partially cruel.

The long lean body next to him moved with deadly grace. Lifting herself onto her hands and quickly off of the large bed, soon she was as scantily clad as she had been when he summoned her. Tight black tank top and leather pants with tears from battle. It was a wonder the pants hid anything.

As soon as he was alone Lukas dressed himself in his tunic and leathers. His broad sword hung on his left his as usual and he made his way to the main hall for what was sure to be an interesting breaking of fast.

The stairs spiralled down from his chambers in the north tower, a place of cold and desperation. The wind ever blowing and the frost ridden air unforgiving; Lukas couldn’t wait to be away from here. He needed to thaw out.

Soon Lukas was at the huge wooden doors that led to a hall filled with orc soldiers. Taking a breath he shoved the door open with all of his human strength.

At first Lukas was so focused on pushing the doors open he didn’t notice the scene playing on the walls. This was where he had witnessed the attack on his wife and her travelling party. It wasn’t until he saw Rowan light the pyre that he real-ized how screwed he really was.

~~~~~*~~~~~
Red and purple flames flew gently from Rowan’s finger tips as she lit the pyre in honour of the fallen soldier Adariyan. The fresh cut wood burned slowly. Rowan’s magic enchanted the fire making the smoke swirl in colors that would make a rainbow envious. Deep purples, bright yellows and vibrant
oranges made their way ceremoniously through the large pyre, up and around Adariyan’s vine wrapped body before gracefully evaporating into nothing but fresh mountain air.
Natalie, Gwendolyn and Nistha stood with Thasher surrounding the large fire.
The group had cleaned all of their weapons and wounds before Natalie returned just before dark. At dusk Adari-yan’s body was woven onto a tree trunk and set aflame.
Staring at the fire but seeing nothing Natalie closed her eyes as she silently called to the fire elements. In all her life she never thought she would summon the vicious flame gods. She spent most of her life hating the very idea of the fires because of the price they asked.
Life.
That or a soul was the only way to get the fires inter-ested in affairs, human or otherwise.
Before too long a small form appeared in the flames. A short young being with silver flames of hair and coal black eyes; it appeared to be no more than a child stepping out of hell itself.
To Loyal and Loved Readers: This edition of Ladies Gryphyn is short. I apologize but I found I needed to end this month here because there was no other stopping point within the next fifteen pages or so. As such I am working at cutting it down to fit the magazine we all know and love. Thank you so much for understanding this lapse in story line for the very same purpose. I promise next months will not disappoint. Thank you again and I love you all. -Nicolette
Deadly Emcees ShowThe CoveMay 19, 2012The Deadly Emcees show was a hit. Many of the local heavy hitting players in the hip-hop scene were on hand to give the crowd a fabulous show. The Cove opened their outside patio area to give the crowd more ‘room to roam’ and gave away many prizes from Captain Morgan. The food was excellent and the servers were really on their ‘A’ game.From K.T. Munee with her man P. Shorty to LSD (aka Joey Bravo) and MAG (Mark Garcia) the house was on fire. Holistic Meditation and MC Monkey D performed their famous “Give me an Item” that really got the crowd going. A-Guttah and Yung Skillz brought their rhymes and beats to center stage. Black Patt, who has not been in the scene for a while, also made a cameo appearance that was welcomed by the crowd.The main feature of the night was to commemorate the brief visit of Tone tha Bone (Tony Garrett) from Florida. Tone tha Bone is a former Magic Valley rap-per, longtime friend of Mic Ill, as well as co-producer of M.O.C. Produkshunz. We interviewed Tony while he was in the Magic Valley for his all too brief visit.
You can read his interview on Pg. ** Tone’s perfor-mance with Mic Ill (Michael Summers) brought the house down! The crowd roared with their approval as the rappers laid down some wicked beats. Mic also debuted some tracks of his recently release mix tape. Copies are available for purchase; just hit up Michael on his Facebook This was a great show and the crowd was full of local performers and tons of fans. We hope to see more of these shows throughout this summer. Thanks for having us there. https://www.facebook.com/events/200208420097135/https://www.facebook.com/micill208
Interview with Tone tha Bone (aka Tony Garrett)May 20, 2012
We had the chance to talk with former Magic Valley rapper Tone tha Bone, also known as Tony Garrett. Tony is from Kimberly Idaho and started his musical endeavors right here in the Magic Val-ley. Tony currently lives in Florida but is in constant contact and coloration with Mic Ill (Michael Sum-mers). Together these guys Own and Operate M.O.C. Produkshunz.
We asked Tony, age 25, how he got started rap-ping. He told us it started with poetry in middle school (most writers/musicians seem to start along these lines). Some of his early inspirations were Rage Against the Machine and Ozzy Osborne. Tech N9ne was more prominent during his high school years when he started writing his first raps. He moved to Florida his junior year of high school then moved back after graduation. He still kept in contact with his pals in Idaho. Once back in the Magic Valley he started to lay down some of his first beats with nothing but a laptop and a microphone. In his words, very barbaric and did not sound very good at all. He had been mixing his own beats for a while when a friend introduced him to Joey Bravo. Joey listed to his stuff and he really like his stuff. Joey introduced Tony to Mark Garcia (MAG). Mark also really liked what Tony was doing and offered to record him for free in his professional studio in Boise if he bought a $50 beat. He jumped at the chance and recorded his first professional track, Complications, with Mic Ill. Tony and Michael had never really done anything
together until this track. Tony went into the Press-box where Michael was working and said listen to this track on his iPod. Michael really dug the beat, so they went into collaborations on the song. They wrote the 3rd verse while they were on their way to do the recording session. You can listen to his songs on Reverbnation (link below).
Tony has been going back and forth between Florida and Idaho these past few years and is proud to call both places home. He loves to come and perform in his old stomping grounds. When asked where he sees himself professionally in the future he says “just getting better”. M.O.C. Produkshunz is expanding as they just got some more equipment. Now both Tony and Michael will be able to lay down some great tracks from one end of the country to the other. They are also expanding their offerings to record other artists (if interested, just message them through Facebook).
Special Thank You: To God. Musically to Mic Ill, Joey Bravo, MAG, Shawn Black, Josh Summers. To Kacey Koepnick for being the “All Around Guy”. To all the beat makers and all our friends, family and fans.Links:https://www.facebook.com/tony.garrett.71https://www.facebook.com/pages/mi-cill/227515350598603https://www.facebook.com/pages/MOC-Produks-hunz/223376371066340http://www.reverbnation.com/1331635https://www.facebook.com/kasey.koepnick
