Reviews are short descriptions of books,

films, plays, etc.They are usually written on websites, in magazines, newspapers or as a part of a letter to inform readers or to give them your opinion, recommendation about whether or not they should read the book, see the film.

Present Tenses are usually used and a variety of adjectives to make your comments clearer and more precise.

A review usually consists of

An introduction gives background information about the book, film, play : the title, type, the name of author, director.
