    What is the game about?Cajun Fisherman Joe is trying to escape a giant tidal wave after a night of heavy drinking. Thegame will consist of mostly ducking under and jumping over obstacles. Joe will also be able tomove the boat back and forth across a horizontal axis. The game will also have a fightingsystem for when enemies get into Joes boat. Joe will have 3 hit areas that constitute theenemies location or ability to block attacks. The 3 basic attacks will affect enemies in the 3 hit

    areas designated high, medium, and low. Joes high attack will be his bite, his medium attackwill be punches, and his low attack will be kicks. When enemies find their way into Joes boatthe player will no longer have control over the boats horizontal controls and the boat will start tomove backwards slowly. The obstacles that Joe will have to dodge can drastically move Joesposition back towards the giant wave. If Joes boat hits the giant wave that is always on the leftmost side of the screen then the player loses the game.

    What are your individual levels? (Name, brief description, key features)1. Swamp: The swamp will look and feel like a swamp in bayou country, Louisiana. Theenemies in the swamp level will be average creatures found in the swamp like crocodiles,snakes, and mosquitoes. The obstacles will be rocks, tree branches, hanging moss, and othersimilar swamp foliage. The boss of the level will be a Witch Doctor on water skis being pulled by

    a boat driven by a squirrel. After beating the Witch Doctor you fall into her cauldron whichtransports you to the dreamland.2. Dreamland: The dreamland will have purple water and greenish skies. Most of the plantsand rocks in the background will be red crystals and giant glowing blue mushrooms. Some ofthe enemies will include the souls of lost orphans, spectral bats, and ghost masks. The playerwill also have to dodge past or jump over crystals jutting out of the river, hands of the river,sleepytime mushroom spores, and cursed ghost darts. You come across a dream tiger-pantherwho instructs you to follow your dreams before engaging in battle. 3. Carnival: You wake up on a rollercoaster track and make your way down to the booths.Bright night stars and carnival lights make up the background. Youll encounter killer clowns,exploding pies, deadly banana peels, clown spiders, and various other deadly weapons. Theboss starts with a clown car that explodes and 10 clowns that come out that you must defeat

    followed by a Clown Mech that uses a banana peel launcher and a Honk Horn that shoots outdeadly sound beams.4. Stratosphere: After you destroy the Clown Mech you are forcefully shot in to space thesubsequent explosion. After escaping earth atmosphere you think you are free at last from thetyrannical wave that has hunted you without mercy. Before your very eyes an armada of alieninvaders appear ready to gun you down, but they only have one expression on their facesterror. A shadow fall over your boat and you know whats about to come. The wave has takento the final frontier and its still out for Cajun blood.5. Journey to the Center of the Earth: After launching into the air you plummet back to earthright in to the center of a dormant volcano. The massive amount of radiation in space hasallowed you and your boat to survive the extraordinary pressure of the earths mantle.As youride on the blazing hot waves of lava you encounter possessed demon skull that fly at you

    seeking to put an end to your boating escapades. The wave still persist in hunting you so thechase is still on, but there is only way to go, down.

    How do the levels fit together?The levels are intentionally eclectic to add a chaotic feel to the game. At the end of each levelyou will enter a portal to the next level.

    Will the levels be completely separate or will you re-use some props/assets?

    Some of the assets (enemies and obstacles) will be re-used just with different coloration. Therewill also be new enemy types and obstacles in each level. The scripts for enemies, the camera,the wave, and the player will be reused in each level as well.

    Will all the levels be in the same or different locations/time periods? Describe. Each level represents a different location in a linear timeline.

    What will be the look and feel of this game? What other games use a similar look andfeel?

    A two dimensional side-scroller with cartoony characters. The game will feel cartoony whileusing unusual enemy types, obstacles, and destinations to make the overall feel seemridiculous.

    A similar look and feel to Ridiculous Fishing & Castle Crashers

    What is the backstory?Fisherman Joe abruptly wakes from a drunken slumber in his prized fishing boat. He hears aload roaring noise and looks around to see a massive wave heading directly for him. He

    immediately starts the engine on his boat and begins heading the opposite direction at topspeed.

    Who are the characters (player, NPCs, enemies, ect.) and what is their relationship toeach other?

    Fisherman Joe: The player controls Fisherman Joe. Fisherman Joe is the main character andthe focus of the game. Joes only goal is to escape the wave and hes only looking to helphimself while doing just that.The baddies: The enemies in this game will either be trying to stop fisherman Joe from escapingthe giant wave, or theyll be trying to escape the wave themselves by climbing into Joes boat.Climbing into Joes boat slows him down and will likely lead to Joes death.

    What (if any) weapons will be available?Joe may be able to obtain new boots, a new lucky tooth, and possibly new clothes to helpstrengthen his character. No weapons.
