YOUTUBE YouTube is one of the places you can share media on the web (mostly videos, but sometimes music).
Users are able to create free accounts and use them to upload videos so that millions around the world can watch them too.
Businesses and organizations can also use it to promote themselves or their products.
Twitter is where people can post statuses, pictures or videos. A lot like Facebook but (in my opinion) simpler.
Users can make free accounts and post whatever they want onto their feed.
Businesses also use this to promote themselves as well as inform users of deals.
SOUNDCLOUD Soundcloud is a music sharing website.
Users can create free accounts to upload their music to share with the world as well as download from other free users.
Some artists use this to promote their own music or just make announcements.
PINTEREST Pinterest is a social pinning website where users could post on the board about their interests.
Users can create a free account and browse what they are interested in.
Sometimes, companies will post about their products and promote themselves.
TUMBLR Tumblr is a blogging website where users create blogs and post almost whatever they want. They can range from pictures, all the way to just little posts.
Users can create a free account and create blogs about anything they want.
Instagram is a photo sharing application for the user’s mobile phone.
Users can create a free account so that they can share photos with their friends around the world.
Most celebrities own an instagram account and usually post a random image.
