Church In Action

ACTS 29 | NOVEMBER 07 | PAGE 03

From the Pastor’s Desk

Sunday School Outlined

I. The zeal of God’s people commences when they see the need.

A. Believers should see the need of the people outside the will of God.

B. Believers should see something that not everybody could see.

C. Believers should see first the Lord and His glory, then their wretchedness before they will see the need of others.

II. The zeal of God’s people continues on while they stand up for the necessity.

A. God wants a man from among the rest to stand in the gap.

B. God will use a man from among the rest to stand in the gap.

The Church Engages to be Zealous to Advance the Kingdom of God Part 3(Zealous For God’s Sake!)

Numbers 25:7-13 / Psalm 106:30

III. The zeal of God’s people contends as they strive for nobility.

A. Christians must communicate their disgust for sin.

B. Christians must contend for the dignity of their brethren.

C. Christians must complement with devotion their manifested zeal.IV. The zeal of God’s people will be commended when they seek nourishment from God.

A. God’s commendation comprises His covenant of peace.

B. God’s commendation of His covenant of peace can even extend to our loved ones.

C. God’s commendation carries on to an everlasting priesthood.

WE are now on the last two months of this year, and as I recall what God has done to us and through us, I can say that it is because of the grace of God

and the labour of God’s people. This flows together with our November theme, “Revive Us through our Hard Work.” I firmly believe that if we want to have revival, it will take God’s power and our hard work.

That is why God was not mistaken when He saved you and placed you in this church. God must see that every member must be exerting an effort so that He will send us revival continually. We must put the zeal of hard work in our involvement in church attendance, giving, soulwinning, and ministering to the unsaved and our brethren. By the way, our Missions Conference is few weeks from now, and that would be a great opportunity to put in our hard work in the church.

A blessed Sunday to all! God again gave us another day to worship Him in our local church. Continue to cherish the lessons and truths that we will get from our Sunday School lesson, from the songs, and from the Bible-based messages.

Make sure you participate in our Church's 70-day 24-hour round d' clock prayer.

This will help set our hearts right for our upcoming Missions Conference on November 30

with the theme "FOR SUCH A TIME AS THIS" (Esther 4:14).

Preaching CDs, Music CDs, & Soulwinning Kits are available today at the usher’s table after the service!

“We engage to seek the salvation of the lost...; and ... we engage to work for the advancement of the kingdom of God...” Thus says in part our Church Covenant, which we bind ourselves to. We are then encouraged to join our soulwinning endeavours to seek the lost by the grace and power of God. Likewise, we are enjoined to support our Discipleship program every Sunday afternoon to strengthen our faith in the Lord. These are godly activities that surely advance the kingdom of God. Let us all be a part of this great task of fulfilling the Great Commission as we prepare for our Missions Conference.

God is great and worthy to be praised for what He has done and what He is doing in our family. He is great because of the so great salvation that He gave us. It was in May of 1998 when Preacher Ramir Calicdan knocked at our door and shared with us the Gospel that enabled us to be marvellously and wonderfully saved. It was the most unforgettable moment in our life as a family for through it, we have experienced many good changes and received great blessings.

May 31, 1998 was when we became first time visitors in the church. It was also on that Sunday that we got baptized, which made us members of the CBBC. Since then I cannot remember a single Sunday that we were not in the church. I really praise God that He did not only save us, but He also added us to the church.

In 2000, we surrendered fulltime in the ministry as the Lord showed us the need of man through Revelation 21:8, which says in the last part of the verse, that, “and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.” This is also the verse that has given us the burden for our loved ones and has helped us to win them to the Lord.

I really praise and thank the Lord that He did not just save us, and added us to the church, but He also called and equipped us for the ministry. Today, we are happy serving God through the different ministries of the church where He has made us worthy to serve Him through His grace.

Now as I look back at the past ten years of our life, I could not help but ask, “What kind of life and family do we have today if God did not bring us to this church, that molds us and help us mold our children through the principles of God’s Word and influence of our pastor and his family?”

I truly thank God for our church. I also thank Him for our pastor and his family who have given their lives to God. Indeed through their surrendered lives, many are saved from Hell, families are spared from being ruined by the devil and are given the privilege to serve God and to lay up treasures in Heaven. Ours is one of those. We also want to thank the Lord for the brethren that He is using so our needs could be provided. Such love and generosity are used by God to prove His faithfulness upon us. For all those years, God has never failed to provide our needs as He promised.

Right now, we are still happy serving God, and our desire is to keep on serving Him till He comes. It is our commitment that:

Where He leads us, we will follow; Where He sends us. We will go What He wants us to do, we will do; And what He feeds us, we will swallowThank you for all your prayers. God bless you!

Area 36/Division B9Bro. John Diaz

nalibing at nabuhay namagmuli. Roma 10:9-104.

iyong puso bilang iyong Tagapagligtas. Roma 10:13

that is the moment when the hand of divine providence is stretched out to us and takes over.”
