Next week will be a very busy sporting week for our school. Good luck to the Boys and Girls Soccer teams and the Girls Netball team, who will all compete next week. Students have been busily preparing for our upcoming Athletics Carnival, including participating in eliminations for high jump and long jump.

NORTH-COAST CROSS COUNTRY Last Friday Kai Stephen represented our school and the Northern Rivers Zone in the cross country carnival held at Nana Glen. Kai finished 11th on the day—which is a terrific result. Well done Kai!

NORTH COAST PSSA TEAM REPRESENTATIVES In the last few weeks two of our students, Jack Watson (soccer) and Jade Gray (hockey), have represented in a North Coast PSSA team. This is a massive achievement and we are really proud of their efforts. Both students have complied a report from their week away.

HOCKEY - I went to Wyong for PSSA Hockey and played 7 games of hockey in three days. On the last day I scored versing McKillop. There were thirteen different teams but we only versed seven. We won 3, lost 3 and drew 1. I didn’t make it to the State team but I enjoyed the hockey experience. By Jade SOCCER - A few weeks ago I went to the State Soccer titles. My first game was against Riverina. Luckily we won 3-1. Our best game was against Sydney South West. It was good because it had been awhile since a North Coast team has been close to beating them. It was the best a North Coast team has achieved in 10 years. By Jack
