Fostering a culture of Positivity and Achievement
Achievement points
• Staff will use the SIMS system to add Achievement points
• Expectation that all staff will use these every lesson
• We want the students to recognise how they can achieve them and what they are worth
Achievement points available on SIMS
• Some Achievement points are available by clicking through the SIMS register.
• Some Achievement points are available by clicking through the Students profile in SIMS.
• You do not need to write anything, adding it is enough
Getting students to value achievement
• Achievement points directly linked to rewards – students can clearly see what happens when
• Chances to win BIG prizes rather than use VIVO points to ‘buy’ small rewards
• Parental contact for regular and set achievements
