Beautify your Bump● Don't try to hide your blooming figure – pregnancy is something to be celebrated by making the right choice in maternitywear.

● Create a fashion statement as unique as your pregnancy. Now is not a time to lose your sense of self. Try to maintain your own style – if you wouldn't wear the clothes when you weren't pregnant, why should you wear them just because you are?

● Pregnancy is a fabulous time in your life, so embrace it at every stage! Buy a few key pieces that will last for the duration but focus on your best features and update your look throughout the nine months with styles that flatter your ever-blossoming silhouette! As well as looking for the practicalities of maternity clothes, embrace the season's trends to suit your bump so that you can continue to wear your clothes post-pregnancy.

nature of denim means that it keeps its shape and fit despite being worn and washed time and again. It provides you with comfort and support in all the right places as your bump grows as well as while you’re returning to your pre-pregnancy shape after the birth!

● Add a little interest to your maternity wardrobe by injecting different colours to suit different moods and occasions. Pink will give you a soft, feminine look, while grey is timeless and versatile. Black is great for looking elegant and burgundy will make you feel and look sophisticated. White will always lift any outfit and give you a sense of freshness. Embrace colour – don't hide behind dull shades.

● Many women feel self-conscious about their blossoming body, so customise your look and accentuate body parts, such as your neck and create a variety of looks with co-ordinating accessories. The right necklace can work wonders to either accentuate or disguise the chest area! A long chunky necklace will hang below the neckline of your clothes and highlight your bust, while a choker will turn the focus to your neck. When it comes to shoes, don't forget your poor tired legs and look for shoes with heels which accommodate a balance between style and comfort.

fasHioN Dilemmas sorteD...FunMum offers a range of stunning

maternitywear for a new generation of pregnant women.

Designed to celebrate your changing shape,

the collection boasts great cut, beautiful fabrics and quality finishing. From comfy and practical workwear to glamorous evening outfits for parties and nights out, you can be assured of the perfect look whatever the occasion...

We solved some readers’ fashion dilemmas with the help of a few FunMum outfits...

■ Casual● I’m into comfort

clothing in a big way and would love to find a stretchy top that I could easily team with a pair of combats. Top Tip... This fabulously stretchy three-quarter length sleeved top (£24) will suit a variety of trouser styles, while the vibrant

turquoise colour will flatter all skintones. The side tie easily adjusts to accommodate your growing bump – making it a perfect fit whatever your stage of pregnancy.

● I love bright colours and am searching for a long-sleeved top that I could wear anytime but is just that little bit different...

Top Tip... This green top (£19) looks great teamed with smart cropped trousers (£29) and strappy sandals. Alternatively, the stripey arm detail means it lends itself equally well to a more casual look, such as a jeans and pumps combo.

■ Dressy● How do you suggest

I dress up a pair of neutral trousers for a night out?

Top Tip... Neutral trousers are a great base on which to build a more glamorous look. Soft

textures – such as this sumptuous velvet number (£29) – will always add a touch of class and chic to an outfit. The luxurious fabric drapes beautifully over the bump while its simple plunging neckline hits just the right note – sexy yet demure. Simply embellish with a few co-ordinating accessories.

● I’m searching for a top and trousers combo that can be worn either casual or dressed up for a more formal occasion.

Top Tip... This neutral top with v-neck detail (£tbc) is a perfectly versatile option when combined with the smart brown cropped trousers (£tbc).

The quickest way to glam up any outfit is

to go from flat to higher heels. If comfort is your main priority, opt for either under one and a half inches or a trustworthy wedge heel. And, of course, accessorise, accessorise, accessorise... There’s no quicker way to transform an outfit than with co-ordinating belt, bag, earrings etc.

lookiNg gooD! Having a baby can take its toll, so we’ve put together some top tips guaranteed to make you start looking and feeling more like your old self once your baby has arrived...

faCe – You may find that your skin is looking spotty, dry and grey now that the lovely pregnancy hormones have deserted you. Drink at least two litres of water a day to rehydrate you and generously apply moisturiser twice daily – using a more intensive one at night.

BoDy – Unfortunately, stretch marks are a common side effect of pregnancy. Well done if you applied cream or oil every day to your tummy, breasts and thighs, but you should continue to do so after the birth aswell. Cellulite often develops for the first time during pregnancy, too. Body brushing helps to get rid of it by stimulating the lymphatic system.

make-up – Looking as tired as you feel? There are some wonder products out there that are guaranteed to have you looking like you’ve had ten hours’ sleep in an instant! Touche Eclat by Yves Saint Laurent is great for banishing under-eye circles, while Clarins Beauty Flash Balm revives and tightens the skin.

Hair – Your hair’s lustre and sheen can vanish as soon as your baby arrives, so it’s worth checking out Boots’ great new Post-Pregnancy range of shampoo and conditioners.

gotta HaVe it! – We know it’s not cheap at £240, but we just love this designer leather shoulder bag from Jooki. Designed to cater for all your needs as a new mother and a woman, it easily translates from baby changing bag to travel bag to chic back-to-work holdall. Co-ordinating accessories are available at www.jooki.co.uk
