Learning the importance of RAMADAN

•The month of Ramadan is important because the Holy Quran was revealed in this month to prophet Mohammed (Peace Be Upon Him).

•Also in this month, fasting is required to seek repentance to Allah.

•Fasting is also important as it shows faith that one have in Allah

•And fasting makes one a stronger Muslim and believer.

Feelings in my first Ramadan

When I was 7 years old, I fasted for the first time. I felt hungry and thirsty and also tired. And I realized how the

poor people lives with hunger and thirst everyday.

Ramadan culture in Malaysia

• The common practice in Malaysia is that children fasted for half day

• In Magrib time, everyone goes to the mosque to have iftar. This uphold their social harmony.

• After having iftar, they pray Magrib, Esha and Tarawi.

Lailatul Qader

Lailatul Qader means “the night of power "The night itself has great significance because the Quran was revealed by Geebraeel Asm. to Prophet Mohammad (Sallallahu Alaihe Wasallam)

•From 20-th to the last Ramadan it is required to search of this holy night.

•In this period my father went to the mosque and prayed from 4pm to 5pm.

• I got fever in the last few days, Dr. gave me medicine and I could not fast that time.

•However, Allah gave us opportunity in such case to full–fill this in another time. Alhamdulillah I already have replaced those.
