RF Planning Engineer – WiMAX Job Description: •Creating and Studying RF coverage maps and WiMAX network simulations and identifying problem areas; • Troubleshooting areas with poor RF performance and recommending network changes as applicable; •Monitoring KPI s before and after configuration changes and make necessary reports/presentation. •Responsible for system integration of WiMAX BTS. •Single Site Drive test/Cluster Drive Test & data post- processing analysis, •Verify RF related site engineering drawings & site database maintenance, etc.; • Perform design criteria, system dimensioning, link budget and traffic analysis and making reports for higher management. •Perform physical and soft parameter planning. •Carry out planning and optimization techniques (proper antenna selection for optimal horizontal/vertical performance, mechanical/electrical tilting, appropriate transmit power setting, antenna clearance, neighbor list analysis, etc. for optimal site/cluster performance; •Generate RF engineering related reports(Network Accessibility, Network Congestion, Traffic Map,Single Site Verification Status, BTS Hardware Upgrade Project, Low revenue sites project, Obstructed sites project) & presentation as required; • Analyzing and ensuring proper solution for improving Radio network Quality using ATOLL/similar simulation software • Coverage Tuning, new site on-air and health reports generation. • Benchmarking New features such as Different vendor equipment, Different Antenna features and making reports for facilitate investor’s awareness. Experience Requirement:Minimum 2 years of similar Radio Planning and Optimization Experience, preferably having experience in WiMAX RF Network. Experience in LTE will be an added advantage.

RF Planning Engineer LTE

Job Description: Single site drive test, Cluster drive test, Functionality Test for WiMAX network. Responsible for cluster wise Coverage and KPI Optimization. Post processing of drive test logs. Monitor and lead cluster drive test activities. Provide analysis report on clusters health and KPIs, perform necessary optimizations and create optimization reports. Work closely with management and planning team to create plans for new sites and coverage hole analysis. RF site survey & planning as necessary.Weekly monitoring the Network Performance and Troubleshooting and improvement KPI.Daily monitoring the Network Performance and Troubleshooting. Find out other problem such as hardware fault, RRU fault, Transmission problem that effect on network performance. Use of RF prediction/simulation software in the optimization cycle.
