    1/2

The TAVIS 2.2 software suite from RF Code is the most advanced and powerful

data management platform for the next generation RFID and hybrid

identification. It provides a unique monitoring backbone for wireless data

capture and processing, and is capable of incorporating the broadest

spectrum of automatic identification and data capture (AIDC) devices.

The award-winning TAVIS platform supplies the first and second layers

between data collection devices and application specific software such as

inventory control, warehouse management, ERP and supply chain execution.

It also serves applications that require instant response, including access

control and personnel tracking. TAVIS 2.2 supports the full range of available

RFID and AIDC technologies, enabling organizations to configure highly

efficient Auto-ID networks based upon the technologies best suited to their

needs. TAVIS-powered enterprise applications are developed by RF Codes

partners in many demanding market sectors.

The TAVIS suite is composed of three key elements that accelerate the

development and deployment of hybrid RFID solutions and services.

    TAVIS Benefits

    TAVIS Concentrator

    TAVIS Collector

    TAVIS Control Station

The TAVIS Concentrator is a software agent that provides device

management for a broad spectrum of AIDC and wireless devices through

Ethernet, Serial, USB and other communication protocols. The

Concentrator is OS independent and is designed to run under the full range

of Operating Systems including Linux embedded systems, Windows CE and

    MS Windows platforms.

The TAVIS Collector facilitates the setup, monitoring and data collection

from TAVIS Concentrators and implements business rules. The Collectorprovides users with the flexibility to build small systems consisting of one

device or large systems consisting of hundreds of devices. The database is

well designed to handle any amount of monstrous data and present the

accurate results to the next level of reporting.

The TAVIS Control Station enables the user to configure and control the

TAVIS Data Collection Platform (TDCP), which is the system hierarchy

structure built by adding and configuring settings for Collectors,

Concentrators, and RFID devices on a single subnet.

Scalable From pilots to enterprisewide RFID deployments

Manageable Allows users to leverage actionable asset data at the network edge

Device Independence Independent driver-based system that can interface with virtually any third-party device

Flexible Supports a broad spectrum of wireless devices and can use all types of AIDC devices

Fault-Tolerant High fault-tolerance regardless of other system failures

OS Independent Runs under a full range of operating systems including Linux-embedded systems, Windows CE and MSWindows platforms

    Asset Tracking

    Container Tracking

    Warehouse Management

TAVIS 2.2 supports a fullspectrum of standard RFID

    and AIDC technologies,

    enabling organizations to

    configure highly-efficient

    Auto-ID networks.
