of the respondents responded positively tothese relevant competencies as alreadypresent or existing in their respective profiles

Results of the study show that HEI top officialshave a high level of awareness of the

phenomenon of climate change

That they are aware of the negative impacts ofclimate change in the ecosystem

That they are pro-active in the development of

programs and initiatives that will help resolveclimate change through climate changeadaptation strategies

of HEI top executives desire thosecompetencies that are relevant to climatechange issues and climate change adaptationstrategies especially in the areas ofadministration policy and institutionaldevelopment human resource developmentand knowledge management while only a few

of the respondents responded positively tothese relevant competencies as alreadypresent or existing in their respective profiles
