Consultation with key stakeholders (rural and remote allied health professionals, the jurisdictions, UDRH, Medicare Locals, etc.) will identify the 4 priority modules for development.

Whilst specific module learning outcomes will not be able to be determined until priority modules for development are identified, each module will have the following core learning outcomes:

(1) Identify the unique features of rural and remote practice and reflect on the impact this has upon transition to this environment;

(2) Apply existing knowledge and skills to specific practice situations that are unique to rural and remote allied health practice; and

(3) Compare and contrast the role of the allied health practitioner as a sole practitioner and member of an inter-professional team in the unique environment of rural and remote practice.
