WHAT DO FORMER PARTICIPANTS HAVE TO SAY ABOUT THE PROGRAM?
“The best part of the program is that it is hands-on. I learned many laboratory techniques that allowed me to successfully complete my project. The mentors were truly outstanding, helping to ensure that my research experience was all I had hoped for. I highly recommend this program to anyone interested in science!” – Mike Hanley, formerly of the University of Rhode Island. Currently working on his Ph.D. at Tufts University
“My experience working in the lab was completely unlike any other job I have ever had. I couldn’t have expected all of the professors and researchers to take me under their wing the way they did. I was given a high degree of autonomy and a variety of work that never left me feeling bored. I would surely take part in the program again and would highly recommend it to anyone considering a career in science.” – Jonathan Costa, formerly of CCRI. Currently enrolled full-time at the University of Rhode Island
