THERMOPLASTIC COMPOSITE - WHAT IS IT?

DEFINITION•A thermoplastic composite prepreg is made of carbon, glass, aramidlong(>10 mm) or continuous fibers reinforcing a wide range of thermoplastic resin matrix, including PEEK, PEI, PPS, PA, PP, PE, PMMA, among others. These are introduced following different main products forms in the market:

- Unidirectional tape- Dry fabrics- Multiaxial fabrics (NCF: Non-crimp fiber)- Braid- Tow- Laminated sheets
