As something new we have divided our big Autumn/Winter collection into 2 smaller ones, ensuring you a ow of newness every 2 months. The name of the new Autumn collection is STAY PLAYFUL! Two years ago I spend a week alone, for the rst time, on a detox in Venice - and I decided that from then on I would invest in myself and go away alone for one week every year.This years choice became a week at an amazing retreat in Italy - a place called THE HILL THAT BREATHES.In every way it was a magical week - my course was called F**k it... It sounds a bit crazy but in fact it is a philosophy. Bottom line is; do not take

everything so seriously - say f**k it take a deep breath and live a little...It was a lot about breathing and also about mindful living - my mantra for the week was STAY PLAYFUL - and it has been my mantra ever since - when I wake up in the morning I imagine this is written on my bedroom wall.Check out their website for inspiration: www.thefuckitlife.com Somehow this goes hand in hand with what RICE is all about - dont worry so much - just RICE up - spread some color and joy into your homes - paint a wall! I love to throw a party and I can always nd an opportunity or occasion to do so. It does not always have to be planned for weeks. Actually Im a big fan of the more spontaneous parties. Invite whomever you would like to see, make a cake or a buffet, put stacks of plate, cutlery and glasses on the table and let every-body serve themselves. Then you have all the time to mingle and chat And after all a great party is all about the company

Over the years many gnomes have seen the light of day at RICE in all kinds of products from spoons to cork screws and candles. We actually have a whole little family of gnomes living with us at RICE.

The gnome-candle-family has long wished to take a closer look at the World. In Denmark gnomes are only really busy around Christmastime, so now we bought them tickets and are fullling their big dream by sending them abroad.

We hope you will help us sending the gnomes all the way around the World. We will follow the gnomes on facebook. The deal is that the gnomes will send a postcard and a photo from every new destination.

Orange Gnome: Always sleeping in a melamine cup and dreams about ex-ploring the Worlds tallest buildings.

Bamboo Baby!I am so in love with this material and the contrast between the natural bamboo and the shiny, shiny lacquer.Lovely storage boxes you can use for anything and everything. Only your imagination sets the limit. Personally I need one in my bathroom to keep hairpins, small jars and bottles and jewellery organized in one spot And one in my office as an organizer of paperclips, erasers, color swatches and just about everything else.The fabulous trays are hard to overlook BIG, bold and beautiful! When we introduce our new collection to the whole company on our biannual sales meeting, we always let the title of the collection set the stage.

Stay Playful is the name of the collection this time - so our sales meeting was all about that. Playfulness - going back to school with a small school bag for everyone - with packed lunches, note books and a pencil case. And of course some toys for playing in the school yard. We even had scented aromatheraphy sticks which lifts your mood when you smell them. One evening we had a nice footbath and had a lot of fun playing around in the kitchen - cooking together and on the last night we ended the meeting with a Prom Party... Great way to get out there and spread the playfullness!
