    The First Family motored from the South Grounds of the White House to the Anderson House, Washington, D. C., the Headquarters of the Society of Cincinnati, to attend a diplomatic reception for the President's daughter, Tricia, and her finace, Edward Finch Cox.

    The First Family was met at the entrance hall of the Anderson House by:

    Tricia Nixon Mr. Cox Mr. and Mrs. Howard E. Cox, Sr.

    The First Family, accompanied by the Cox family, went to the Great Hall.

    The dean of the Diplomatic Corps Guillermo Sevilla-Sacasa, Nicaraguan Ambassador to the U.S., presented a silver punch bowl set to Tricia Nixon and Edward Cox.

    The President thanked the Diplomatic Corps for the reception honoring his daughter and future son-in-law.
