The President motored by golf cart from his Office to the San Clemente helipad.
The President flew by helicopter over suggested sites for the Richard Nixon Library: the west slope between Corona del Mar and Laguna Beach, and a rise behind the north ridge of the campus at Whittier College. For a lis t of passengers, see APPENDIX "A".
The Presidential helicopter landed at the Riverside Municipal Airport.
The President motored from the Riverside Municipal Airport to the Beverly Manor Nursing Home where he visited briefly with his q,unt, Mrs. Edith Timberlake.
The President motored from the nursing home to the Rive rside Airport.
The Presidential party flew by helicopter from the Riverside Airport to the San Clemente compound helipad. During this flight the Presidential helicopter circled twice over the Ontario Motor Speedway at ;3,000 feet where the California 500 was in progress.
