They are a team designed for success. Richard (“Rich”) and Lindsey Heinrichs’ unique and diverse backgrounds have provided the husband

and wife duo with an ideal platform upon which to build their real estate business, and they’ve utilized their talents to consistently accomplish their clients’ goals. They are intelligent, thoughtful and driven beyond individual transactions. Rich and Lindsey take to heart the responsibilities associated with their profession and never lose sight of the driving force behind their actions: the well-being of their clientele. Together, the Heinrichs are facilitating something beyond the purchases or sales of homes; they’re helping their clients achieve the lifestyles they desire.

Lindsey displayed a spirit of entrepre-neurialism at a young age, and has worked throughout her life in order to meet the needs of others. After marrying Rich and relocating to San Diego, she applied her studies in Graphic Design and Watercolors as a representative at local advertising agen-cies. Lindsey eventually went on to become a creative director for HomeFed Bank, then moved into promotions where, as a Certified Meeting Planner, she coordinated multi-mil-lion dollar company events. After years in the corporate sector she launched a boutique marketing firm that represented a number of notable clients including PBS, Swiss Air and Entertainment Book. When the time was right to once again explore her professional options, Lindsey determined that her skills, paired with her longtime interest in real estate, were the building materials for some-thing great. In 1998 she enlisted Rich to join her in the field.

Like his wife, Rich came to real estate after establishing himself professionally. The Cornell University graduate spent seven years on active duty including several years flying the venerable F-4 Phantom at Naval Air Station Miramar, California. He then went on to earn a juris doctorate degree at Western State University College of Law. Rich spent 25 years working as a trial attorney, litigating complex, high-stakes cases throughout Southern California including San Diego, Orange and Imperial Counties. And like Lindsey, he looked at real estate as an

exciting next step in his professional journey. Rich earned his broker’s license in 1998 and embarked upon a business partnership with his wife.

At the heart of the Heinrichs’ real estate practice is the duo’s empathetic approach to meeting their clients’ unique needs. “We aspire to understand the ‘why’ behind the transaction,” explains Rich. “Once we are in touch with the motivations involved in buying or selling a home, we are better able to align ourselves with our clients and to provide them with an experience that exceeds their expectations and accomplishes their goals.” Rich and Lindsey’s motives, then, lie beyond transactions or even their marketplace: the team is focused on establishing and maintaining productive, long-term relationships with their clientele.

“A transaction isn’t about us; it’s about our clients,” states Rich. “In our market in particular, people are seeking more than just properties. They are looking for a lifestyle, and we are here to help them achieve clarity in their goals, and then to assist them in accomplishing the way of living that they desire. We love to make dreams come true.”

Transparency is another critical element to the Heinrichs success. “We believe in open and forthright communication,” notes Lindsey. “If our clients and colleagues can’t trust and respect us, then we’re not doing a service to our profession.” Their military lifestyle enabled Rich and Lindsey to forge a bond that exceeded geographical limitations, and this unique partnership adds tremendous value to their real estate services today. “When your spouse is deployed, you definitely learn to hone your sense of intuition and to become very resourceful,” Lindsey explains. “Communication becomes incredibly important, and you establish an understanding of each other’s strengths so that you can work together even when you’re apart.” This bond has allowed Rich and Lindsey to maximize their efficiency and to offer their clients consistently exceptional experiences.

While they remain hands-on throughout the course of every transaction, Rich and Lindsey have also determined that the best way to adhere to their concierge level of care is to include the support of an enhanced team of profes-sionals. Their assistant Renee, says Lindsey, handles administrative duties and allows the Heinrichs to do what they do best: represent and advocate for their clients.

Rich and Lindsey work with buyers and sellers throughout the region, providing them with comprehensive advertising and marketing campaigns as well as the consumer-friendly technology platform of their brokerage, Keller Williams. The duo has successfully incorporated cutting-edge tools and systems into their repertoire, tempering their personal service with the conveniences that tech-savvy individuals appreciate. Well-versed in luxury and high-end markets as well as distressed properties, the Heinrichs are as com-fortable working with high-profile clients as they are with first-time buyers. “Our objective is simply to provide a great experience for everyone with whom we work,” says Rich.

Their clients laud the Heinrich Team for their consis-tency and unwavering dedication to their needs. Alluding to their comprehensive level of care, KC notes, “At the heart of it, Rich and Lindsey are a team with complemen-tary skills. They spent the time and effort to understand our priorities and interests in purchasing a home, and shepherded us through the wonderfully complex process of escrow and home repair. Throughout the process, it was evident that they have cultivated a network of con-tacts, meaning that you can tap into the local knowledge of not just them, but everyone that has been their client in the past.”

“Our objective is simply to provide a great experience for everyone with whom we work.”

As committed as they are to their profession and their clientele, Rich and Lindsey aren’t defined by real estate. “We have created a lifestyle for ourselves beyond the business,” Lindsey says. “That is so important.” Both love music, and have found their own ways to explore their interests. Rich plays the ukulele with a local band, while Lindsey, who studied piano and violin, has served as a board member for organizations including the San Diego Symphony and Villa Musica, San Diego’s community music center.

Giving their time to improve the lives of others is a way of life for Rich and Lindsey, who aspire to leave a legacy much broader than the housing marketplace. Lindsey is currently involved with Wallpaper Performance Company, an emerging San Diego-based performance art group. Her passion for the arts is reflected in colorful watercolors inspired by the company’s perfor-mances. “There’s a real connection between that and real estate,” she observes. “As an agent, I’m sensitive to the movements and intentions of my clients, resourceful in finding the heartbeat of their lives.” Rich supports Natural High, a drug abuse prevention organi-zation created to help young people avoid drugs and explore their passions. Rich and Lindsey are also proud of their daughter, who has inher-ited her parents’ love of music and outreach. With three credentials from the University of Southern California, Dr. Brittney Heinrich is an occupational therapist who works with the Veteran’s Administration, caring for wounded warriors and the just approved Aspire Center in San Diego.

They are real estate professionals with a mission: to make a difference in the lives of others. And through their business and personal efforts, Rich and Lindsey Heinrich are doing just that.
