Day 3 Bin el Ouidane to Khenifra This morning brings a long cross-country ride on narrow tarmac lanes. Very little traffic here makes for an enjoyable ride. We will have a picnic lunch in this farming area before an optional off road section in the afternoon. We arrive at our pleasant accommodation mid afternoon where we can enjoy a swim in the hotel pool. Accommodation: Hotel de France (3 star with bar and pool) 50km off road 140km tarmac Day 4 Khenifra to Ain Leuh This will be a shorter day today. We head east, and quickly find ourselves in the forested lanes of the Middle Atlas. A pleasant stop for a picnic lunch at the huge natural spring that is the source of one of Morocco’s major rivers, Oum er Rbia. A short tarmac section heads North to the hostel where we stay tonight, and an optional section of forest track for those who want a more active afternoon. At our clean but simple accommodation (mainly communal sleeping area) we enjoy local dance entertainment and a whole roast sheep for our evening meal. Accommodation: Hostel (No bar or pool) 40km off road 130km tarmac Day 5 Ain Leuh to Azrou This will be a ½ day of riding and a ½ day of rest. We’ll have a late breakfast today, and while our mechanics do some maintenance on the bikes, we will walk to the orphanage for a visit. After a tour of the project by the director, we will present the funds we’ve raised, and then enjoy lunch with the children and staff of the project. During an afternoon off road loop through the local cedar forest, we hopefully will have a chance to get acquainted with some of the barbary apes who live there. Accommodation: Hotel Panorama (3 star with bar, no pool) 50km off road 40km tarmac Day 6 Azrou to Beni Mellal Hopefully the riders will have benefited from yesterday’s easy day, as today’s ride is the most demanding of the whole trip. Beautiful scenery takes us through some of the truly untouched areas of the Middle Atlas. Long stretches of track through ancient cedar forests, passing only the occasional settlement of forest workers. There are a few demanding sections for the inexperienced, but our guides will help you through. After a picnic lunch in the forest, we join a country tarmac road mid-afternoon, for a further 2-hour ride through to Beni Mellal. Accommodation: Hotel Ouzoud (4 star with bar and pool) 120km off road 170km tarmac Day 7 Beni Mellal to Marrakech This will be our final day together. A short run into the surrounding hills brings us to the famous waterfalls of Cascades d’Ouzoud. The energetic can walk down and even enjoy a quick swim in the huge natural pool at its base. We will have lunch overlooking the falls. A network of fast, smooth cross-country tracks lead us back to Marrakech. We enjoy the facilities at the hotel, with time over dinner for informal speeches and maybe even a few prizes. Accommodation: Hotel Nassim (4 star with bar and pool) 70km off road 160km tarmac Departure We will take care of airport transfers again.

Parallel 4x4 experience Why not enjoy the full experience, but from the comfort of a Toyota 4x4? There are 4 places available per vehicle. Option of self-drive (Toyota Prado) or a vehicle with driver (Toyota Landcruiser). You could share a bike place with a friend and alternate your riding days? The vehicle will be equipped with a GPS, to enable you to follow the full off road itinerary with the bikes.
