We love to tell stories, especially those which hold the promise of wonderful moments of life between the pages of a book. STORIES & FRIENDS publishes books for gourmets and connoisseurs. They are about whisky and wine, chocolate and coffee. They recount the things we love; topics which affect people emoti-onally. We do not even shrink from complex subjects such as mathematics. People’s passions are our passi-on.

No guidebooks, cookbooks or specialised books … stories are our oNly passioN. They are written exclusively for us by various authors living mainly in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Some have alrea-dy received awards for their writing; others are just starting their literary careers or writing with fervour.Their styles vary, just as their favourite genres, but all are expert writers of short stories regardless of it being a crime thriller, a fantasy or love story.

STORIES & FRIENDS is a fledgling publishing com-pany, founded in December 2006. It started as a pro-ject to find out what stories can be used for. Today our output is still small iN size but aWesome iN impact. Currently it includes 8 titles 3 of which have already achieved a Gourmand World Cookbook Award.

Since �996 he worked as commis de cuisine, demi-chef de partie, chef de partie and sous chef in first-class restaurants. Even Juan Amador belongs to his teachers. Finally Faust has been maître de cuisine in the restaurant L’ étable in Bad Hersfeld. He got �7 Gault Millau points and one Guide Michelin star. Die Frankfurter Allgemeine Sonntagszeitung (FAS) de-clared him to their „Liebling des Jahres �0�0“.
