More Than A Messenger

All of the big five are certainly veryfar from achieving the level of theamazing AI based girl Cortana ofthe equally amazing video gameHalo (Microsoft’s virtual assistant isnamed after her). The primaryproblem being; none of the virtualassistants have much intelligence. But with whatever they’vemanaged to build so far, each ofthe big five is eagerly working on astrategy to integrate their existingmessaging apps to immediatelygain access to a vast userbase.

Each messenger app already hasseveral hundreds million activeusers. Once strategically inegrated, these intelligent assistants willeventually become the mosteffective tools for everything fromautomated customer care, tovirtual sales assistants and mostimportantly; to understand theircustomers much more intimately.
