"Iam20yearsold.AttendingtheweeklySundaymassatourparishandhearingthecongregationandchoirsingalongwiththeorgansparkedaninterestinmetolearntheinstrument.WhenIwasaround13yearsold,Iwenttolookatwhattheorganistwasdoingattheconsoleforthefirsttime,Iwasinstantlymindblownwiththeamountofcoordinationandaccuracygoingonbetweenthehands,feet,thevariousstopsandpistons.Atthattime,Ialsotooklessonsinpianowhichgavemethefoundationinreadingsheetmusicandidentifyingthesharpandflatkeysonakeyboard.AlthoughIdon’thaveaformaleducationinorganstudies,Itakelessonswiththeorganist

ElizabethBaileyattheSt.Bernard’sRCCinLevittown,NY.AthomeIhaveanAllenADCdigitalorgantopracticehymnsandavarietyoforganrepertoire."SadieHestonSadieissixteenyearsoldandisajunioratMattituckJuniorSeniorHighSchool.ShecurrentlylivesonafarmwithherfamilyontheNorthForkofLongIsland,assistingwithbeekeepingalongwithfruitandfloralproduction.Shestartedplayingtheviolin,withDanielGladstoneasaninstructorwhenshewasthree.Shehassinceaddedpiano,voice,andguitar.Sadiesingsinherhighschoolchorusandselectchorus,aswellasherchurchchoir.Shealsoperformsinherschools’bandandjazzband.Sadieaddedorgantoherrepertoiretwoyearsago,underthetutelageofAnnWelcome,andhasbegunassistingwithchurchservicesfortheCutchogueandMattituckPresbyterianChurchesinthelastyear.Sadieispursuingacareerinworshipmusicandmusiceducation.Likelotsofmusicians,SadieenjoyslanguagesandwillalsobepursuingaminorinSpanishlinguistics.

PatrickHinesisa14-year-oldsophomorefromEastNorthport.Hehasagreatloveforkeyboardinstruments.HestudiespianowithDr.ScottBallin,andpipeorganwithMatthewKoraus-MM,FAGO,ChM.PatrickisamemberoftheschooljazzbandandisalsoasubstituteorganistforalocalLutheranChurch.Patrickcurrentlyisin

themiddleofafour-yearmusictheory,compositionandmusicologyprogram(AP/IB)underthedirectionofDr.FrankDoyle.PatrickisaregularintheNewYorkStateSchoolMusicAssociation(NYSSMA)festivalandmostrecentlyscoredanA+ratingonhisLevel5classicalpianoperformance.Patrick’sinterestinthepipeorganwastriggeredbyparticipatinginthe2014SuffolkCountyAmericanGuildofOrganists(SAGO)“Pedals,PipesandPizza”OrganExpo.Patrickhas‘paidback’thefavorbyperformingateachOrganExposincethen,hopingotheryoungkeyboardistswillfindenjoymentinplayingthe“KingoftheInstruments”.PatrickwastheyoungestparticipantintheSAGORisingStars”OrganRecitalinNovember2016,heldattheCathedraloftheIncarnationinGardenCity.Forthepastfiveyears,PatrickhasbeenawardedSAGOscholarships.PatrickisgratefultoSt.Paul’sLutheranChurchinEastNorthportforprovidinghimwithrehearsalprivilegesontheirBozeman-Gibsontrackerorgan,andtohisfamilyfortheirongoingsupport.JulietRandJulietRand,an11thgraderatSoutholdHighSchool,studiesopera,organ,piano,violin,andballet.Sheistheorganistandsinger at the 10:30 AM mass at St.Patrick'sChurch,Southold.Inaddition,Juliet is active in musical theater. Shewon a Teeny Award for her role asChristine Daaé, in Southold HighSchool’s production of Phantomof theOpera.Shewasselectedtoperformwiththe2019All-StateWomen’sChoir at EastmanSchool ofMusic. JosephholdsaBachelorofSciencewithhonorsinNeurobiologyandaMedicalDegreefromtheStateUniversityofNewYorkatStonyBrook.HecompletedaresidencyinAnesthesiology,servedasChiefresident,andsubsequentlycompletedafellowshipinAdultCardiothoracicAnesthesiologyatMontefioreMedicalCenterintheBronx.JosephiscurrentlyaCardiothoracicAnesthesiologistatSt.FrancisHospitalinRoslyn.Someofhisclinicalinterestsincludepoint-of-caretransthoracicechocardiography,perioperativetransesophageal

MatthewKoraus-(MM,FAGO,ChM)istheDirectorofMusicMinistriesfortheChurchofSt.PatrickinHuntington,NY,wherehedirectsa50-voiceAdultChoraleanda30-voiceYouthChoir,producesanannualconcertseries,andaccompaniesthechurch’snumerousliturgiesontwonewlyinstalledpipeorgansbySebastianGlück.HeisalsoanadjunctprofessorofmusicatHofstraUniversity,Hempstead,NY,whereheteachescoursesincounterpointandkeyboardharmony.Hehaswrittenanextensiveamountofsacredmusicforbothliturgyandconcert,andanumberofhisliturgicalworksarepublishedbyCanticaNOVAPublications,MorningStarMusicPublishers,OregonCatholicPress,andWorldLibraryPublications.

MatthewholdstheFellowshipCertificationfromtheAmericanGuildofOrganists,andwasthe2013winnerofboththeFellowshipPrizeandtheS.LewisElmerAwardofferedbytheGuild.HealsoholdstheGuild’sChoirMasterCertificationandwasthe2015winneroftheChoirMasterPrize.Matthewwasafinalistinthe2014NationalCompetitioninOrganImprovisation,andwontheFirstPrizeofthe2015UniversityofMichiganImprovisationCompetition.Matthewisahighlysought-aftertenor,havingworkedwithchoirsatsuchManhattaninstitutionsastheChurchofSaintAgnes,ChurchofSaintVincentFerrer,theCathedralofSaintJohntheDivine,andSaintThomasChurch,FifthAvenue.HeisafoundingmemberofthevocalquartetVOXAQUARUM.MatthewisagraduateofHofstraUniversity(B.S.inMusicTheoryandComposition,2009)andtheManhattanSchoolofMusic(M.M.inComposition,2011).
