SPEAKER BIOS

• Diane Koontz serves as president of Managed Health Care Associates, Inc a leading health care services and software company, the largest group purchasing organization (GPO) in the US focused on the needs of the alternate site health care provider. Diane joined MHA in 1997 through the acquisition of MedEcon, As a senior health care executive with over 25 years of experience in the GPO and health care services industry she has demonstrated strong leadership skills with the ability to consistently execute strategic initiatives. In 2009 Diane was promoted to Sr. Vice President and to Executive VicePresident in 2016.

• Beth Husted received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Ohio Northern University and primarily practiced pharmacy in the retail sector, with a recent shift to Long Term Care. Through the implementation of various patient care programs, she has been involved with providing transitions of care services for over five years. Her work focuses on reducing readmissions at the facility level through a patient-centered approach, positively impacting the patient perception of their long-term care experience as well as the self-management and adherence to their complex medication regimens. Also, Beth lead the COVID vaccine initiative for Absolute Pharmacy from end to end.

• Mindy Ferris joined PharmScript in 2017 as Executive Vice President of Pharmacy Operations. Prior to joining PharmScript, Mindy was Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for Partners Pharmacy and was responsible for all day-to-day operations throughout the company. Mindy started her career with Omnicare, Inc. serving in various roles of progressive responsibility and culminated her 19-year tenure with Omnicare as Senior Vice President of Pharmacy Operations. Mindy holds a Bachelor of Science in pharmacy from Ohio Northern University and is a registered pharmacist in multiple states including Ohio, North Carolina and Virginia.
