Career

He began directing in advertising. In 1992, he made a low-key film debut with a

children's feature titledHirer Angti(The Diamond Ring). His second movie Unishe

April(19 April), won the 1995National Film AwardSince then, Ghosh has

directedDahan,Utsab,Chokher

Bali,Asukh,Bariwali,AntarmahalandRaincoat(in Hindi). He won the National Award

for best director for his bengali film "Abohoman" starring Jishu Sengupta, Ananya

Chatterjee, Dipankar Dey and Mamata Shankar in India in 2010.
