What is a Title I School?
• River Eves participates in the Title I, Part A, Section 1116 of the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) School-wide program.
• We are provided federal funding to ensure all students have the opportunity and innovative resources, to meet or exceed state, local, and national assessment expectations.
• Title I funding impacts each and every student at REES by reducing class size and funding professional development.

River Eves is a Schoolwide Title I Program
• Every student at River Eves benefits from Title I funding, resources and our school-wide plan
• All families are welcome to use the resources in our Parent Resource Center and attend our Parent Workshops
School Goals
SMART GOAL #1: The percentage of students in grades 3-5 scoring at the proficient or distinguished on the Georgia Milestones ELA will increase in 2018: ELA- 3rd-55%, 4th-77%, 5th- 63%
SMART GOAL #2: The percentage of students in grades 3-5 scoring at the proficient or distinguished on the Georgia Milestones math and science will increase in 2018: Math- 3rd-55%, 4th-50%, 5th- 61% Science- 5th-67%
SMART Goal #3: The percentage of students in grades 5 scoring at the proficient or distinguished on the Georgia Milestones social studies will increase to 57% in 2018.

K-5 teacher to serve as a math and reading interventionist
Leadership and teachers identify weak areas in math and remedy with research-proven strategies
Technology resources that support math differentiation in the classroom & supplement instruction in reading and social studies for struggling students

Teachers collaborate in PLCs to select, implement, and evaluate effective strategies that yield high student growth and performance
Extended Day Tutorial (30 days, 2 hours per day 2 days per week after school beginning in September and ending in March)
