Also active with a number of charitable organizations, Geoffrey Richards is a former board member of the River North Dance Company (RNDC), a critically acclaimed Chicago dance company.

About the RNDC Founded in 1989, the RNDC produces and presents cultural

dance programming that combines artistry with athleticism. Strongly devoted to the personal development of both choreographers and dancers, the RNDC offers a number of continuing education programs. In addition to a series of one-day workshops throughout the performance season, the company offers intensive summer training programs that immerse dancers in the style and techniques of the RNDC. A select group of dancers are invited to participate in an apprentice program that offers them individualized instruction and the opportunity to perform with the company in the event of casting changes or injuries.
